In SC2, you can't keep making mistakes when you engage and then just magically go back home and trying again. That's what makes WC3 more of a micro game. You can actually engange a fight without losing any units. Can you explain this for me? It looks to my untrained eyes like there is less micro because of this, because they don't have to worry when they take damage they don't need to worry. I keep seeing single units run into crowds of enemies and get slaughtered... doesn't look like much micro to me at all.
A lot more spells are being used (as opposed to SC) and running away when knowing they cannot win.
