MLG has been running tournaments for years at this point, and calling them amateurish only make the person complaining look like a joke. Starcraft 2 is not the only event going on at this site and they have many responsibilities. I'm sure they'd like to delay streams in order to make sure the spectators can view the games, however when time constraints become a legitimate issue sacrifices will have to be made and the outcome wont please everybody. They are running tournaments since years and still have fuckups every time. I remember WoW tournaments being like 5 hours late multiple times. How is this professional?

Why don't they complain on MLG website instead? Then use this thread in order to do live reporting.

This was quoted and some got upset. I should clarify that, although I do think it is a bit amateurish, the second part was 100% sarcastic. I do not wish anyone's life to be ruined. If anything I was trying to convey the opposite, something like "This is kinda disappointed, but ah well, there's more important things to get upset about." I hoped the sarcasm was quite clear -- but they say there is a big cultural component to sarcasm, so I guess it wasn't clear to everyone.

I'd say thats a hell of a run for a self-funded unknown foreigner. he made it to the money rounds.. through 1000 people, not 2000 people, but I agree.. those rounds to make it in are not easy.. sure some bad players showed up, but most of the qualifiers were filled with really good players trying to prove themselves, most of the players also had really good practice partners and were on teams like(OGS, zenith, prime, werra, etc).. these were the players people had to play through to get to the ro64... he lost 2-1 to san zenith, who made it to the ro16 and lost to Inca.. a pretty good player If you ask me. it's not like he lost 0-2 and was never in the match. It's also not like he lost to some gold level player who turned over and played dead in the ro32.. idk why people think that making it into the gsl ro64 is easy.. most of the foreigners had a hard time making it in or very far... people need to stop putting down others accomplishments. Not saying torch is going to win DC, but he's also not the worst player in the tournament

Then use this thread in order to do live reporting. seems there's no way to stop the deluge of complaints when streams don't work perfectly right away. i really wish people would appreciate the time, effort, and sponsor money that goes into these events and have a little patience -_- but since that seems nigh impossible, i'll just edit the OP to let people know which page live reports start on
