Did a site audit on the webpage, and all the contact info is completely bogus. Shady confirmed I was hoping to find some free software or webpage to help organize the brackets, but I am way too bust ATM to manage it. If someone sets it up, I'll put up $25 towards the pool for the winner ( free entry, of course.) anyone willing to help get this off the ground? It doesn't make any sense." edit: + Show Spoiler +That's not a quote from Tasteless about Nada and Boxer being in the same bracket, it's just a phrase he's used several times before.
Well hypothetically if the brackets were rigged (I don't believe they were, personally) then it makes a lot of sense actually; GOM knows they're not good enough to both get to the finals so they throw them both on opposite sides of the easiest bracket, therefore giving them both the best chance to play each other and give one of them a really good chance to get to the semis.

Cool might have to go through TLO and Ensnare to win the group - tough job!
|
TLO eliminates in ro64... TvP is so hard for him..
|
Damn, so much for Boxer vs NaDa finals, they're in the same bracket.
Oh well, this is going to be soooo much better than GSL, in play and quality! I can't wait!
|
I'm sure the brackets are random from the perspective of individual matchups. GSL probably did some filtering though which I don't mind to evenly distribute the races among the brackets. In the end as long as they didn't favor keeping X player away from Y player specifically, it really doesn't affect anything.

I'm personally looking forward to the Blizzard tribute art. Chickenlisk, Egg-o-lord and Cock-roach.

They couldnt meet each other, cuz they wont advance to ro8, i think now they have a chance to meet... sc1 players arent good at sc2 ..

WOW TLO's first game against Sangho? THAT WILL BE TOUGH!! I think also since fruitdealer is in his group TLO will have a really hard time advancing (assuming his TvP doesn't hold against a pro gamer).
Group B is STACK yeah, I agree --> HopeTorture, NexGenius, Clide, Inca, CheckPrime, oGsHyperdub daaaaaaaamn
Group C: Nada + Boxer ^^<3 gogogo
Group D: Looks like idra may have the easiest pool, we'll see how he fairs this event!

This isn't a troll is it?
Idra FruitDealer Tester
What were you saying about sc1 players?

Zerg seems to have an easy time in Ro64, although Ro32 is probably a different story.
This is gonna be very entertaining, unlike last time I can see top matches left and right starting in Ro64.
SangHo vs TLO, don't know who to root for .
My special tournament prediction: If FlintZenith manages to upset Rainbow he will take the whole tournament.
|
Wow, I am so sad that Manofoneway and Nada are in the same bracket.....Bo5/Bo7 epic match dream has crumbled....
|
As much as I hate to root against TLO...that interview with Sangho already decided it for me. My head tells me I should root for TLO, but my heart makes me go with Sangho.
|
Am I the only one who gets a really strong feeling that boxer/idra/tlo are going to lose? =/

Hey guys I'm trying to sign in using my SNS account Facebook (it's what I used last season as well) but when I click on the Facebook button, it doesn't do anything at all while in Google Chrome. If I try it on Safari, however, it opens just fine! Any idea why it wouldn't work with Google Chrome on a Mac? (p.s. The Twitter button works just fine, it's only Facebook that doesn't work).

Yes, it just magically happened that the two players with the most fans and potential to draw viewership for the GSL2 are in the easiest bracket. The people at GOM knew what they were doing. They know Boxer and NaDa will draw far more viewers than anyone besides maybe fruitdealer, and so they put them together in the easiest bracket. It's business. They're trying to grow their brand and their tournament.

Yeah thats true, or it could be alot of those people we don't recognise are beastly.
At any rate id really like to see boxer and nada qualify for S or A rank next year so we can see them playing on a regular basis hehe
