This is good. The more hype and the more people watching will only serve to unsettle his opponent. Boxer is used to playing in front of stadiums of thousands, a few spectators won't bother him at all but his opponent will feel the pressure a lot more and perhaps crumble (just speculation).
Also, FIND A CHARGER SIR.

the best players should be those in the GSL. the current prelim system is in no way suited to ensure this.
how can people not understand this? SC2 is new. There are no universal rankings/ladders that can fairly seed people in pre-lims for the GSL.
it has been said countless times that the 2010 GSL tournaments will create the first seedings for 2011 where seedings will start to take place.
till then completely random is completely fair. even if july has to face boxer in the first round of the pre-lims.

There goes about 20,000 viewer counts for GomTV i guess? yes, the way they are doing this pre-liminaries is retarded. Yes, people named Julyzerg should get a free pass and everyone else should have to work their way though prelims. no where in my post did i imply that JulyZerg or any of the big names should've gotten a free pass, i'm saying they just lost some ratings potential with July being eliminated. and you do not agree that the way that this preliminary isn't as fair it should've been? July's losing had nothing to do with the structure of the prelim. It had nothing to do with "fairness." He lost to a scrub protoss. Stop making excuses. sigh... again no where have i implied that July's lost was due to the structure of the preliminaries, i am saying like how Boxer got 2 wins by default because of no shows, and then luckily gets free pass to the next stage of elimination process... it should'nt have been run this way... i hope you will stop drawing wild conclusion and put words into others mouth now -.- Wow, you need to man up and accept that I'm not putting words in your mouth. You dug your own grave here.
When someone says: Julyzerg not making it is so fucking annoying, even more sad is being eliminated by a player called gaybar.
And you respond: There goes about 20,000 viewer counts for GomTV i guess? yes, the way they are doing this pre-liminaries is retarded.
...then how the fuck is that not implying that implied that July's loss was due to the structure of the preliminaries?

Enlighten me how the GSl staff should properly seed this tournament? It's an open tournament which everyone can register for. 2011 then they'll have enough data to properly seed everyone based on the OPEN GSL season results. They can't base anything now on 1 tourney because some people surprisingly managed to reach the ro64 due to the easy qualifying which most likely won't happen again (which u can already notice the majority of the ro64 GSL1 didn't qualify for the GSL2 so far).
Let me tell you 1 thing then. Do you think NexGenius should be seeded 33-64 while he is way better than the majority of the participants?
With 3 tournaments they will be able to see who is able to perform constantly over 3 seasons and give them the proper seeding.
There were quite some scrubs in the ro32 compared to the people who got eliminated in the ro64. To get a proper and precise seeding u need results of multiple tourneys which in this case is of 3 GSL Open seasons.

Boxer to play 장홍욱 aka Fire for a spot in Ro64.

I think they should require people to confirm their registration while being physically present before the first qualifying round starts. It sucks that people who registered but didn't show up are still matched up with other people.

Boxer fighting!!
Damn disappointing that july and moon have both been knocked out.
Heres to hoping Boxer will make it to ro64!

Have a registration "fee" that is returned to you when you show up and play. Like $10. That is if they have a problem with "fake signers".

I reckon this would cut down the no shows to almost 0. Just the ones who really couldn't make it, very good idea
