He is cheating because he is actually a robot. No way is it legal for an AI to compete in this tourney. The organic nature of his name "A Fruit Dealer" is simply a mathematically calculated ploy to keep people from recognizing his true cybernetic nature. It didn't work on me, simply because I'm bad at math.
Things like making two roach warrens in previous games were just other masterfully calculated "errors" to keep people in the dark.
However, I was thoroughly impressed with how he seemed to bite that apple. I'm sure it isn't good for his circuitry.
Damn, our robot overlords have come.

I'm so tired of seeing people drop a Factory and make helions in someones base. That crap doesn't win you ladder games in low diamond. I don't understand how its winning GSL games. Really low quality play. (I'm a day behind in my viewing)

Uhm what? Who in the gsl have relied on that strategy to win games? People do it because it's a low risk thing to do with potential reward, not because it will win you games in itself.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but do you think it's possible GOM told (payed) NEXLiveForever to throw the game so there'd be a TvZ final?? It's a pretty logical theory if you think about it. TvT final = dissapointing / talks of imbalance. TvZ final = great BW rivalry carried over into SC2.

No. I don't think it's possible.

Just made this for my appreciation.

1. For the folks sharing YouTube links - just so you're aware, GOMtv does read these live reporting threads and they have been quite prompt about getting YouTube channels taken down. If you insist on sharing them, and you want the videos to stay up, I think it would be wiser to do it over PMs.
2. Looking at the Korean observer's footage of set 2 on Scrap Station, notice how Cool laid creep over the whole shortcut between the destructible rocks before LiveForever ever got in there. He had a creep tumor spotting the NW rocks as they went down, and having vision the whole time, he knew exactly when and where to flank (which we already know, of course, from the way he completely demolished LiveForever's army). From what I can tell, it wasn't until LiveForever started setting up to push through the second set of rocks that he laid down some scans and cleared the creep. Talk about telegraphing your punches...

Just finished watching the games...and WOW, the first two games were epic. Third was a bit meh, but overall..Cool is just too damn good, sick sick play!

I have to say this series showed how amazing of a Zerg player Cool is. The first match definitely had the most amazing micro and macro I have ever seen by any Zerg player. I would rate it as my favorite ZvT match ever. I've never seen such controlled micro, and using queens to heal mutas while attacking, who even thought about doing that?

How come cool was never successful in Starcraft 1. Or was he? I can't seem to find any info on his sc1 career.

Anyone know where to see vods of this? I had to miss everything;(

He was a b-team progamer on eSTRO I believe.

The skill required to be succsesfull in BW was insane compared to SC2. The way he played in the semis would be considered standard in BW and nothing exceptional.

Interesting that Fruitdealer hasn't faced a single Protoss or Zerg the whole time. I want to see if his other matchups are as good as his Z v T.

He was a A-teamer. He played in proleague.

Lots of people in SC1 are better than him, that's the reason. He had a 40% win rate, that's mediocre. But I would say he is not bad, since 50% win rate in BW proscene can be considered a really good player. That's where Rainbow is.

Sorry - I didn't see his name in liquidpedia and I only heard that b-gamers came over. No wonder he's so good =p
