He faced a Protoss (oGsInCa) in the quarterfinals...

I think GOM should be aware that if they stick to this silly pricing model, people will simply find alternatives to paying for it. I mean $20 for just a month is awful, personally I'd pay maybe $10/month or $60/year. Such exorbitant pricing is really hurting the expansion of e-sports into western markets.

Tester was also a A-Teamer on Estro. Tester was a better overall player, even beating FLASH in proleague once, even though it was a heavily protoss favoured map, but still .

That's right, I forgot because it was so quick!
Anyone know where the videos of the interviews are? I have a league pass, but I can't find the interviews.

I sorta assumed Tester was an A-Teamer because Liquidpedia lists him as a coach. That's pretty good info though, thanks!

You can watch it live for free. So you cant start complaining if you cant get a vod for a cheaper price. Thats like starting to complain that its too expensive to rent a dvd or to buy it compared to downloading it through a torrent.
Some people just claim that they would pay for it if its cheaper, but I bet most of those guys would never cash out and choose the free option anyways. 20 bucks isnt cheap, but its not costly at all either. Its like three pints out on town here in norway.

GomCam - Go to League - Sc2 - the only Sc2 league, and it'll have videos, news, etc, etc, gomcam

Live....@3 AM, when I have a 7:30 class.
And with the future seasons and $20 per season..... that adds up pretty quickly

I watched the games now and damn, Cool doesn't cease to impress me. I watched the final attack on Scrap station no less than four times. Too bad I'll never be able to reproduce anything remotely like that.

Is it just me, or have they lowered the quality of the free stream? Last night I was watching it on full screen and I couldn't tell a marauder from a marine or a roach from a drone.

So? Can you claim you should get it for free because it doesnt fit your schedule? Or that it should be cheaper because it doesnt fit your schedule?
All the seasons will still be free even though there are many seasons... and I am sorry to say it, but if your schedule doesnt fit the free option you still cant complain. There is a free option out there that is more than reasonable, so complaining about the price of the paid option is still silly.

I go to sleep like 2-3 hours early just so I can watch it live. Even though I could just watch the VODs because I paid for the subscription. So... what you're telling me is that you want the VODs for free when you aren't willing to do as much as I am.
I see how this is totally fair, and that life should be made fair for you.

its your problem, not GOM's

You seem to be missing the point entirely, because what you think is fair or not fair to complain about is irrelevant (and yes, of course you can make that claim, not really sure how you could think otherwise). There is a simple reality to GOM's pricing scheme which is that it dissuades a lot of potential customers, not just now but especially in the future, and esports in general suffers because now is the time to capitalize on increased interest by making it more inviting to be a spectator/fan, not more exclusive.

Man, I never though cool was that good, but that was super impressive. Also lol that gif is hilarious

It is obvious. Fruitdealer is the Overmind! My zerg awaits his orders.
|
Cool has faced two Protoss in the GSL bracket stage. EternalPrime in the round of 64 and oGsInCa in the round of 8. Both sets he won 2-0. He has 'only' played three Terran, despite the fact Artosis kept saying he had played four.

game 1 was great, the rest of the series was more of LiveForever getting outplayed. excited to see Cool go up against a decent T.

NexLiveForever is one of the best terrans. FruitDealer just makes everyone look bad.

That was so effing awesome. I hope cool wins the whole thing, though ITR will put up one of hell of a fight (assuming he wins tomorrow, which he probably will). I'm disappointed that no protoss made it to the top 4, but there's always next time for Tester.
