Artosis is actually quite good, and he seemingly got rolled over. (Granted playing Z in this game is like playing the game on Nightmare mode.) I actually played him on ladder 3 times.
1-2 against him. He's supposed to be ex-progamer but didn't seem quite as beastly. I'm sure someone of TLO's calibre can take him convincingly, especially since TvZ is supposed to be his forte.

i do agree that it seems like tasteless could use a little brushing up on the game overall. artosis seems much more familiar with sc2 in comparison.
that said the two of them have excellent chemistry. even though individually i prefer day9, day's never really found a compatible caster as a partner. artosis and tasteless complement each other and work together quite well.
more on topic: really looking forward to watching artosis' games tonight

Is there anyone who knows where I can watch game2 and 3 of Artosis? it says that I need to pay to see em >.>

Then you should pay if you want to see them. Imo it is worth the $20 to be able to watch all the vods.

I disagree, since stream is free then the VODs should either be free or not uploaded at all. Imo. $20 is not really "reasonable" since you can find a lot of programer VODs for free on other websites.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they shouldn't charge for their service, but it just seems that they're doing it wrong. 1 VOD per set is not teasing, it's just annoying, it doesn't make me want to give them money at all.
Also, since you can buy the game for ~$40, I don't see how $20 to see some commentated games seems worth it to you.

lol @ not paying $20 for 30+ hours of entertainment

Game 2
Game 3
Nobody should be forced to pay for some low quality sc2 vods, if the other tournament organizers will see that the gom guys succeed with that, we all have to pay for every future event.

lol @ thinking that $20 is worth 30+ hours of TV entertainment.
note that most internet streaming services give you much, much more bang for your buck, for example every sport stream gives you quality athletes (bonus) more coverage (bonus) no commercials (bonus) and lasts for the entire year, instead of a (very) limited time.

Tester FIGHTIIIIIIIIIIIIING.
That dude is awesome. Looking forward to seeing more of him in GSL and in general.

This.
Also, I can find similar VODs of most of the SAME PLAYERS, if not better, for free (see Star 2gether).
Now, again, I'm not saying they shouldn't charge for their service, but not like this.

Torch did great job casting with tasteless.
Big LOL at artosis flexing before the first game.

The free VODs won't load on gomtv. Anyone experiencing the same thing ?
|
I wouldn't pay more than 2 dollars to watch these (frankly poor quality) vods of people playing starcraft. I already pay for internet, and have to sit through the advertisements.
20? hahahahaha. for a month? wow..
I wish we would boycott them, but apparently some people think that is a good deal or something. Here's to paying in the future.
btw these korean vods have much better observers. I prefer them to watching tasteless be a "charismatic" child.

Does anyone have info on the female commentator? I think she's cute lol.

But you want to see that specific match, and not another match where the same players might be playing. So your point actually don't really make much sense.
If ofc you just want to see some sc2 go to youtube and watch HD/Husky.

omg tester have my zealot babies :o + Show Spoiler +game 1, a lot of drop harass by terran yet he does not crack. game 2, omg wtf forcefield. Terran's army gets destroyed by perfect force fields and steam rolls away.

The Terran that played VS Tester was so bad. He could have taken out all the collosus several times when they were walking next to the edge of a cliff and his vikings are just sitting there watching him. If that was the other Terran that played the previous day he would of lost.

Pay your 20 bux, watch all the vods, support esports. Theres no ads on the stream and the quality is quite nice. Its the 1st GSL, the goal is to show it can be big, once it does and gets more sponsors they can actually worry about providing bonus coverage. Its not about hey am I getting the best bang for my buck with this 20$, its hey im helping SC2 succeed and expand while getting something out of it.

Can't be easy can it, going against Tester (of all people) in that huge map with everything going on all over the place with drops and expos and keeping an eye open for observers. Not saying the Terran couldn't have done better - but I wouldn't call him "so bad" for making a few bad calls. More like, not quite on the level of Tester.
Btw, is it just me or are people on TL somewhat unnecessarily harsh? I see a lot of bashing going on that more often than not the players don't really deserve. On the other hand I see lots of positive comments too which is always nice :D

Very true, he wasn't "so bad" but definitely not on the same level as tester or the other Terrans that played the previous day, I forget his name but the 13-14 year old Terran was incredibly good vs Protoss, The match seemed a bit stacked, I'm anxious for more even level matches to come in the round of 32 ^^ a lot of one sided matches so far in the round of 64
