So funny how if you provide reasonably priced streams everyone bitches about octoshape and that it's p2p, but if you provide non-p2p streams everyone bitches about the prices.

That being said, charging 30 bucks extra for vods is pretty ridiculous.

They could earn so much more money if they used European/American commercials together witht he korean ones, instead of charging for LQ stream, that's even worse than having your mainstream being german, at least it's free tho. (hi ESL)

The reason it was so wrong, is because they were measuring the wrong units.

What they were displaying was kilobytes per second. What they labeled it as was kilobits per second.
This is why you see a speed of 8-10x what you got previously (i cannot recall if its 10x, or 8x..)

Hope that clears that up.

They did not change server location or anything like that.

At first when I visited the site I thought it was live for $20 and live + vods for $30, but now that I learned that they are sold seperately I will not be paying for either. I was willing to pay $30 for a month of live/vods starcraft, but because of the time of the games and my desire to watch some games live, while other games on vod, I will probably be doing neither now.

Please reconsider adding live to the $30 charge for VODS. You would get so many more customers!!!

It's unfortunate. I don't intend on paying for this service. I really loved Gom for bringing me Tasteless and Artosis. But I have no intentions to pay for a subscription service, especially for something so limited.

The only reason I would pay for this is to support tasteless so he doesnt lose his job after this plan fails. I am a huge fan, and watching the original gom tv star league was so much fun.. I watched every match.

However, if I pay into this, it will give you guys the idea that charging this much $ for a live program that will be at an inconvenient time of the day and that I can go and watch every single other tournament other than yours for free is outrageous. I can understand charging small fees of 5$ or, showing lots of commercials, but the current set up is plain wrong.

I am pretty blown away by this. This type of greed so early won't even pay off for them in the end. If they really wanted to exploit it they would get everyone hooked with season 1 free, now the chances of this expanding outside into real e-sports numbers is very slim. Highly disappointed and I feel for Liquid in Korea.

It wouldn't pose a problem, if someone already bought they simply give these people more time, let's say they payed full 50 bucks. vods + free stream and the stream now with vods only cost 20 bucks they simply just give them 2 additional seasons. No problem at all.
