It also means much higher stream quality for those of us who will pay, because there will be not be thousands of leechers on the free stream. I admit it sucks for students or people on a fixed income, but I guarantee you there will be pirate re-streams and people who transcode the HD stream into VODs, like what happened for MLG Raleigh. You've got another thing coming, there'll be plenty of ads on the stream. And the stream doesn't exactly have a good track record in terms of quality.

Wow. I wonder if Gretech is going to blame BW or something when their unusually high price puts the kibosh on any semblance of a large audience.

Because of people like you nothing never changes :o Even GomTV said that posting feedback directly to their site if more beneficial than posting it here, so yes maybe this won't do anything. But at least it's better than just sitting in our chairs and doing nothing.

You don't see why $20 a month is such a big deal when your target audience is between the ages of 16-26 (AKA highschool/university students) and all you get is a bad quality stream that lags AND you don't even get to rewatch any of the VODs unless you pay another $30 a month?

What really ticks me off is that IF you for some reason don't have the time to watch a live event that you have payed for, you have to watch the VODS and they cost another 30$. So you have to pay 50 bucks per season. once the first tournament is over you have to pay 50 bucks again, and again. It's expensive as hell.

Few points to put up: 1) 20$ to wake in the middle of night to watch some matches, 2) 30$ to watch them later at any time (BUT DURING THE TOURNAMENT NOT AFTER) 3) 99% chance of a stream slideshow in European countries and... 4) NO REFUND IF STREAM DOESNT WORK OR IS UNWATCHABLE

Additionally, target audience is not purely US citizens. For 30$ In lithuania i could go to a movie theatre to watch a movie, then go to the restaurant and have a decent meal, then go to the nearest mall and grab a couple of beers + a pack of marlboro smokes.

But then again rapidshare isn't making any announcements on forums asking for feedback at their site now are they
