Non-mirror games are never truly balanced. Players just adapt to the imbalance. It's not like you can run with any unit composition (the equivalent of class composition in pro-WoW Arena) in BW and win.

Wasn't there a sc2 tourny last weekend that had a certain terran player try a strat he has never used before to beat someone? Countercomping is a factor in a lot of games, not just wow.

World of Warcraft requires completely different skills than SC2 and is definitely easier but that does not mean all World of Warcraft players are automatically bad at everything. The argument in general is retarded.

You do realize this is why people mock WoW PVP, right? People just all say 'this comp isn't hard, no this comp isn't hard' when there isn't anything that's really harder than other comps. It's all a dick waving contest without very much real skill and is based around counter comps. While there is skill in WoW arena there is skill in any game but arena mostly boils down to composition fights
edit: Also I'm not saying WoW players can't transfer over, most people who played WoW PVP played other games before and after WoW, it's just that arena blows
