vods will most likely be up 3-5 days after the event, maybe you can find some earlier on youtube
Thanks for the reply. You wouldn't happen to have a source for that information, would you?

Well i guess ill make the argument in this thread before that happens. High level WoW arena takes and insane amount of skill. A lot of which translates into high apm and the ability think very dynamically. This. Despite the imbalances in WoW, PvP Arena is actually pretty damn hard. TL people have this elitist attitude which kind of derives from the BW days, but realistically there are many games nowadays which require people to be just as on top of their game as SC 2, at least in terms of unit control and APM. WoW pvp is still horrible because the game wasnt built for it and has to cater to two different crowds of people. It will never take as much skill as SC 2. High level arena takes at least as much skill as Sc2. Random wow pvp takes as much skill as dominating the bronze league does. I think your miking the 2 up. No, it doesnt. The fact Blizzard has to try and balance around two different aspects of the game makes it inherently more imbalanced. Have you ever even seen high level wow arena? Ever watched it in person? The amount of things that go on in a single match boggles the mind. Balance has little to do with how much skill people have in top level play... If you knew anything about the pro arena scene, you would know that there is no 1 specific comp is dominating it. The state of the game is so fluid it's had dozens of compositions that were optimal or best. WoW is a mess with pvp balance and starting en e-sport out of that is flawed to begin with. A game doesn't need to be balanced, or even good, to have a competitive scene. There's even competitive rock, paper, scissors (I'm serious). If it's imbalanced its hard to respect the game in general from a competitive point of view. You need as even a playing field as possible.

What you people fail to realize is that good gamers are just good gamers. They can transfer among games and be excellent at many types. Regardless of WoW gameplay itself, playing it isn't a handicap to being good at other games.

I've been following MLG for a few years now and I know that it usually takes them a few days after the event to get all of the different replays and different side match vods up. However you can watch a replay of today on the SC2 stream later tonight if you want.

Then watch the explanation here: Wow arena is not about multitasking and mouse accuracy, being able to click the click the right units and give them the correct command, or about remember your builds and keeping track of ten unit-producing structures and multiple expansions and worker production and supply and blah blah blah--most of these things are NOT ON THE SCREEN. Wow arena is about prediction, its about positioning, it's about reaction time, it's about muscle memory in clicking the correct one out of 20 spells you will use during the fight at the exact time you need to, it's about teamwork, it's about being able to situational awareness, paying attention to a billion things that ARE ON YOUR SCREEN at the same time (your combat text, your life/mana bar, watching enemies' cast animations and spell effects to instantly diagnose what they are doing and what you need to respond with, and how far they are and whether you can get there in time/get away in time). I guarantee you watching a TOURNAMENT level Wow 3s player (lol @ using the random 2200 arena metagame to paint a picture of the highest level of play) you will not understand a single goddamn thing they are doing. Everything happens way too fast for all of you "LOL WOW IS EZ MODE" trolls to make any sense of.
