well what shall i say i m not sure if i should be sad about what you guys say or if i think its funny -_- i know my english is not native and i guess its not easy to do a good interview on a stage live when thier are a few thousand ppl ;/
I am sorry for all my mistakes but well i am a german caster and i usualy do the interviews in german.
It s not always easy to say what i really want to say cause just in the moment i miss the right words or i pronounce 1 word wrong and then its even worse.
But tbh the games are great and i hopefully improve in the future. I will do my best. I hope you can understand what i wanna mention : )
Have Fun watching the semis tomorrow : )

People are just jealous, sitting and gamescom, watching games live AND talking with really known players face-to-face which is just omg, awesome! I only got angry at You when You talked to WhiteRa,but You're doing cool job, seriously. I really enjoy watching the games and the event itself. Keep up the good job man! =) Greetings from Poland too

Don't worry really your interviews are fine.
It doesn't matter how great you do, with this much people watching, there will always be some guys willing to make fun of you or hate you.
Wow, Idra vs Sarens game 5 at 15 min mark, the way Idra did the move-attack-move thing with his roaches (kinda like marauders, but then forward), into a fullblown ARC around the terran forces.. that was just godly and so deliciously zergy. Great games although I'm getting a bit tired of all that reaper play tbh. Will have to check out all the other quarter finals matches later.
TaKe: awesome that you read here man, don't worry about us, you have a fanclub already so it can't be too bad. I think it's just a factor of vocabulary makes your questions come across really blunt. It's like ich hätte gerne or ich möchte versus Ich will. Both mean the same thing really, but the latter one sounds really blunt and direct.
The good thing though, is it's memorable and it's entertaining (in a good way). I wouldn't worry about it.
Keep up the great work. Could you tell us maybe, what has been your favourite game to watch so far in the series?
Couldn't watch the games :/. Can somebody tell me if some of the terran > zerg victories were in the late game (preferably after economicaly non crippled zerg got ultras out)? Or was it typical "terran wins in the first 15 minutes or is fucked"? I would love to see those...

First of all I congratulate you for acknowledging that there is a lot of room for improvement. Here is my advice on how to do just that (it worked for me to improve 2 grades in school in half a year): 1. read your favorite stuff only in english ... that way you learn the grammar intuitively and my english teacher said once: You dont need to know all the words of a sentence, only the meaning of the sentence. Do that bit of reading EVERY DAY and it doesnt matter if it is related to your job ... it just has to be something you will devour and read with great interest. AD&D 1st edition worked for me and after some time I had some parts of the books memorized. :p 2. watch movies in english (no subtitles!) to learn the pronounciation. Watching english news works as well. There is no substitute for hearing Sean Connery and other great actors speak to learn how it *should* sound.
Against the nervous search for words I can only suggest practicing / preparing questions beforehand and if the schedule on the tournament doesnt allow it yet they should make room for it. Translating a question from german into english on stage will only result in false grammar and awkward answers from players who might misunderstand you ... since many of the players arent native english speakers either. [Stille Post ist witzig aber bei einem Interview fehl am Platz.]
The really annoying part about the whole IEM coverage is the fact that GLHF.tv is allowed to cast stuff, but is totally at the mercy of the ESL with what they are allowed to show. That creates some pretty unhappy fans who are getting shown only one match out of a series, because the ESL reserves all the juicy bits for themselves. I know it is a business for them, but if I were the Gunrun I would stop covering it after being treated like a slave as he has been. If they give their word that he can cast a series they should keep it and not take it back because they ran out of games themselves. Greed by the broadcasters as the ESL has shown is one thing which keeps the momentum of Starcraft 2 as an eSport back and many tournaments with loads of casters during the beta had much more excitement than only getting the sub-par ESL free quality stream. If they have to push ads on us via Octoshape - which screws up settings left and right - there is no reason to have a premium stream to pay for, especially if the premium stream gets the ads as well ... The total picture of this isnt "I want to promote eSport and broadcast this tournament to the fans" but rather "I want to make money".
