What happens when a KR pro plays a EU pro? The lag between their servers is going to be horrendous. Are they both going to be playing on borrowed US accounts? Even if they do, lag will still be a huge problem. IdrA said in the most recent SotG podcast that lag between KR and NA is worse now than it was before, so he doesn't even bother laddering on NA anymore. If the lag between KR and NA is this bad, imagine the lag between KR and EU. | ||

It will happen when it happens, sooner better than later, but hey. gl to 'em lag is an itneresting point, do you split people into reagonal divisions to reduce the overall amount of lag, but then have max lag for the finals? or just random it all up? truth be told they seed as they will, for how they think they will get the most views... which is ... well what it is. it's not a straight up open turny, it does more often then not give up the matchups we want to see. which is awesome in it's own right. | ||

But in all honesty, does anyone else feel like Blizzard is simply pulling an NFL on us? Like, with the sheer restrictions on tournaments, on who can host, commentate, etc. Soon, no one besides Blizzard will be able to have anything related to Blizzards merchandise. I know it is all about the money but really, the tournament could have been moving so much quicker if they were not so restrictive. | ||
