When it comes to watching games, I think I can tell for myself what is boring or not. Don't tell me what I should find boring or not boring, and don't assume I'm biased based on what I enjoy watching. Watching and playing Starcraft aren't exactly the same thing, and while an early cheese/rush may be a genius play in game, it isnt exactly the most fun thing to view.

In the 3rd game, he gambled again by going with the helion/reaper build. If you want longer games, you should perhaps be wondering why The Little One didn't play it safer. tlo knows that he would not beat tester on a standard long game... the only reason why he took that second set was becasue he got that early snipe on the nexus. i love how most kids on here dont even realize what is what
Longer games favor Terran and game 2 showed it. Its mainly the mid game I think The Little One is worried about.

+ Show Spoiler +TLO would've SMASHED Tester in that last game if ONLY he remembered to repair his bloody viking. I almost threw up watching him panic trying to micro his viking against the charged void rays.
TLO vs Idra should be just as epic as his series with Tester. We all know Idra will force a long game if he can but we also know that the longer a game is, the more creative TLO becomes. It will also be the first time we see the two power houses face each other in SC2 (as far as I am aware).
Edit: apparently Idra has played TLO in the TL Altitude Invitational and won 2-0. Thanks Barfboy (lol) for the correction.
If you do your research, Idra has given little notice to TLO's success yet Idra lost 0-2 to Tester and TLO was able to take Tester to a 1-2 with a very extreme game 2. + Show Spoiler +Game 2 if nothing else, shows us that TLO can keep up with the "best" player in the world in a straight up 6 base v 6 base macro war and beat him.

No one is making attacks on other players. People were complaining that Game 1 and 3 were "boring" and we were just informing them why it was a "boring" game. It was because one player went with a non-standard build and the other went for counters that punished the risky play. I liked those games but others who prefer "longer" games were crying about Tester going for "cheese" when he was just going for counters to non-standard play by his opponent.

i made it just in time to see game 2 and 3 of TLO vs Tester. That game 2 was epic! I never thought I'd see 2 motherships in a big tournament like this, amazing play by both players. TLO giving us yet another epic TvZ.
game 3 was over far too soon. Tester saw the opportunity to go for a void ray rush and TLO only helped him by taking his scv out before the gateway unit even spawned. He could have delayed that stargate a bit longer.
can't wait to see game 1 and qxc vs dimaga once the VODs are up

If I go 15 hatch, 14/15 pool is it boring/cheesy when somebody reaper bunker rushes me or double gates me?
It really doesn't even cross my mind to call tester's play cheesy he see a possible way to exploit his opponent and he takes advantage of it greedy players/risky build orders should definitely get punished especially if you make a habit of doing it in a series e.e

Huk pretty clearly demonstrated that mass Archon is viable as long as there aren't wildly vulnerable air-only areas that you have to deal with.
Void Rays are not cost effective against BCs, even with feedback support.

I understand that the the games' outcomes were TLO's doing just as much as Tester's, who had great plays and counters for TLO's openings. Still, I found the games a bit underwhelming (In my honest opinion). It doesn't help that the 3rd one followed a game that I found to be absolutely spectacular.
Oh, and I never really thought of "cheese" really being derogatory or offensive towards anything really, but maybe my wording was a bit wrong.

QFT, Part of the reason I stared posting here was because I enjoyed the balanced discussions. This name-calling and extreme conclusions are taking away from the quality of the forums.

Then likewise don't decide for anyone else what games are boring and not. Game 3 was actually a brilliant piece of misdirection by Tester and overall a good read of his opponent. If you aren't entertained by a game unless there's nukes and motherships then that's unfortuante, perhaps you'd be more entertained watching WWE instead of StarCraft.

TLO vs Idra is going to be insanely suspenseful for me. I'm not a big TLO fan, and I really want a Zerg to make it into the finals. Idra is really solid, but given TLO's weird/cheesy record, and the general trend of TvZ so far in the tournament (and by "trend" I mean "complete rapedown")... Dunno. Watching Thors pop just as Dimagas Mutas came out was utterly painful. The fact that the Terran was able to Thor AND Banshee AND Hellion, all while Dimaga just went straight Lings -> Mutas, was totally disgusting. That said, never underestimate Idra when he isn't throwing a fit. He is probably the most solid foreigner at macro.
Personally I thought that game 2 was pretty impressive for Tester, not for TLO, because he managed to fend off two insane Terran timing pushes after losing an FE Nexus (which he shouldn't have gone for). We already knew TLO was capable of turtling to BCs. It was also a good showcase of how insanely powerful Terran drops are (immobility my butt).
