Yes they will all be posted on youtube in full definition goodness, I believe thats on the first page. Games may not be posted for a few more days as some are being played over the weekend and recent battle.net turbulence may postpone some matches.

He actually plays Z for certain matchups and P for others. I will update the actual matchups when I can. It is my knowledge that most major tournaments allow players to choose certain races for certain matchups. Therefore Tasteless is not receiving any special treatment. IE: When a player says he will play P, it is assumed for PvP, PvZ, PvT. When a player says he will play R (random) it is assumed for RvP, RvZ, RvT. And of course, there are players who will request dual races, such as PvT, PvZ, TvP. In the end the opponent will always know what race to prepare for in the tournament. (In this case day9 and Tasteless are brothers, and day9 is playing random so it doesn't really apply). Once again, as soon as we get confirmation from Tasteless as to which race matchups he wants, we will update the thread. Is this really true? Major tournaments allow you to choose races for matchups? In Starcraft or all RTS? That seems unlikely to me - what if (hypothetically speaking) the current (meta)game was imbalanced such that P>T, T>Z, and Z>P. Two race changing players going up against one another could not get matched up. I mean I don't think it really matters in this situation anyway, but for future events I think it's a bad idea.

There is a good point. Lets say player A is protoss, but wants to be zerg against terran. Player B is terran, but wants to be zerg against protoss. So whats going to happen now if they face each other? ZvZ, even though poth players would not mind playing with their main race against Z? Or does just one player randomly change? What if player B is terran, but wants to play protoss against zerg? How do these big tournaments handle this?

I believe if the players can't decide on a matchup they would do a double blind race pick. I think that's what they did for the TSL but I can't find the rules.

As for how big tournaments handle them, there is the 1 race only rule, winner of game1 has to play the same race or players separately announce before hand what race they will play that particular match.

The most recent instance I can remember is Savior picking T against Gorush. You have to announce your choice ahead of time (and without knowing what your opponent will pick, though of course in general you can be pretty certain), but it's allowed.

I'm pretty sure that at least in professional WC3 you were allowed to racepick, precisely because some players were convinced that a certain matchup was imbalanced (orc vs undead was it?). Obviously there'd be a problem if two race pickers play a game that's rock paper scissors as you describe, but such a game would be a crappy RTS anyways.
