Idra was WAY behind on workers, had been producing only army, and didn't even have his expo up while Ra's was half-way saturated. You can see in the game on Blistering Sands what happened when Idra goes roaches and doesn't deal any damage with them -> Instarape a few minutes later.
I guess going 1 base vs protoss 1 base is tricky, but doable. However, 1 base vs protoss 2 base? No way.
Besides, some zealots moved out, he may have thought he could slip the zerglings by and wreck havoc in the main with the speed upgrade until some stalkers pop out. Or he actually thought he'd break the entire entrance if he could get a surround (that's questionable). Either way, pulling back = loss, 95% sure.

I really enjoyed following you guys through all the matches. The endgame was a good excitement warm-up for the football world cup

He wasn't. It was the same as the CC cancel Idra did vs Nony in the TSL 2 Tournament... more or less.

Just watched all final games, and I’d like to say, I LOVE all american! Especially when american pro-gamer OWNED by slavic pro-gamer! %) This is the best show to watch evAr, it makes me happy! %) White-ra is my hero now! ^_^

Dude this thread is full of live play-by-play reporting and discussion of the games... and this is what spoils you four days after the games were played? I don't think you're going to get any sympathy here :o

Seriously though
+ Show Spoiler +I feel so sorry for TheLittleOne. First against WhiteRa in the semi-finals and then against Nony in the third place match he was just one game from winning the series and seemed way ahead but then lost in the end. And the third place match was originally even supposed to be only a Bo5. For those entertaining matches he really would have deserved to get some of the prize money. Gratz to WhiteRa and Nony though who played great in the matches against him.

I avoided this thread until watching all the VODs - how hard is that? Once the VODs are up, all discussion is fine. Instead of checking the LAST page for updates, check the first post, or youtube.

Yeah, it's more understandable for your matches vs. TLO, since people didn't have the chance to watch those streamed and the VODs were posted last night.
But spoiler complaints about White-Ra vs. IdrA are silly. I sure hope ESPN doesn't spoil how the Lakers did this past weekend for me!

The front page is horribly abandoned and un-updated, the point was to not see spoilers. both youtube channels seem to be missing the last two games of the finals. ends with the game on metalopolis.
Trying to find missing content without seeing spoilers is difficult and frustrating... my only hope was to come to the last page hoping others had the same issue and i was pleased to see no spoilers at the time that i posted and literally the next post spoiled it. i was looking forward to watching spoiler free. If husky update the front page's spoiler links i wouldnt have had this problem.
excuse me for being excited about this. my bad guys, my bad.
