Just wait for a few days, they will come out soon.
On another note, I felt that if nony made less sentries and used the gas for storms he would be able to kill the hydras a lot easier.

thought Nony would've gotten the 2nd game when he trapped out the hydras with forcefields. should have went for the hydra den or focus on drones instead of the lair which didnt even go down at all.

I wonder if Rekrul will be placing bets on the finals after seeing those games.

Nony was totally outplayed, the game on metalopolis was just super awesome, maybe the closest was the phoenix one, but he failed sniping the lair

Wow, game three was just a clinic on how to play hydra/ling. Just great, great play from IdrA. Speedlings to the third base and repeated drops in the main was a great move, backed up by great micro at his base in the final fight.

I think Husky put it well. I've seen NonY play the phoenix build a ton, but IdrA clearly knows how to handle it. A lesser zerg player would have lost game two *cough* moonglade.

yeah, zergs cant actually win because of skill. Only because of imbalance.

nony screwed up game 1 big time. game 2 imo nony should have won but he wasnt on his toes enough. game 3 was really a good match by idra though, totally outplayed nony.

Game 3 also made me more optimistic about SC2's prospects as an e-sport. If things like drops and other harass can be that effective, suddenly multitasking becomes that much more important again. Maybe SC2 has a much higher skill ceiling than we believe right now.

This, Europe vs Asia and the NonY vs IdrA games have really showcased how awesome StarCraft 2 can be!

Husky kept talking about how great hydras were against zealots, but I find that zealots with leg speed and a bit of forcefielding actually melt through hydras really quickly.+ Show Spoiler +
I don't think the problem was that Hydras are super effective against zealots, it was that Nony had like 8 zealots versus something like 35 hydras.

I guess without leg speed it's a different story though.

Zealots are not that different from the way they were in SC 1, honestly. Hydras are stronger, but also costlier. Zerglings meanwhile are somewhat weaker.

Hydras absolutley murder zeals in SC2 if you compare them with their SC1 counterparts, mostly because there are no size modifiers in SC2 to help the Zeals out.

Obviously you can't compare the games directly, but If you do the math, it takes about 29 hydra shots to kill a zeal in SC1, meaning the size modifier essentially almost doubles the zeal's hitpoints in practice, where as you only need a measily 13 in to kill a zeal with a hydra in SC2, less than half. Of course hydras also cost a fuckton of gas these days, so...

great! i guess the good thing about having pre-recorded games is that you can just upload them almost straightaway after you've livecasted it.

Thanks to you two again and iRip. The matches today were especially helpful and encouraging to see Zerg post patch 12 not only doing well but winning (for me using Z lately has been a string of donut holes instead of wins ). Great play by all , look forward to more. Oh would it be possible for u to post the reps or are they under raps and just vods will be avail?
Be nice!
