Introduction.
Hello one and all, and as you can guess here is another hotkey setup. I made this cause i felt when playing as a random player I just got too confused with all the different hotkey difference between the races. While most might just use grid setup when playing random i felt that grid led to too many misclicks and errors, and wasn't intuitive enuf, and while there may be many other great hotkey setups that are more efficient, or with more layers. I found that using too many layered commands killed the flow of my macro that i needed 3 different hotkey profiles to play random So i bring you the Soulbound Hotkey Setup a more simple Standard.
Installation.
1. First with this setup you need to decide if you want to use mouse buttons or not. Below will be links 1 for mouse and one without. Now why mouse buttons do you say. Well first off you don't need any keys bound to your mouse for this Setup. The only reason i am Including a second file is for thoes rare people who have a mouse without a middle mouse Button, or who don't want use the middle mouse button at all. Below is how i have my mouse setup.
***NOTE*** I have Discontinued Support for the no mouse version ill leave the file below for thoes who may still want to use it, But it will no longer be Updated ***NOTE***

- B3 = Middle Mouse Button = Select Idle Worker
- B4 = Thumb Button (close) = CTRL + Space = Next Subgroup ( Unneeded )
- B5 = Thumb Button (far) = ALT= Select all Army ( Unneeded )
- B6 = DPI Button = Insert = Drag Scroll ( Unneeded )
2.Download
Below are the files for the hotkey setup. Download either the Mouse or non Mouse Version and place in your Hotkey folder which is located normally at

1.Whats Changed for all Races

Below is a list of all basic hotkey changes that applies to all races.
- Idle Worker = Middle Mouse Button ( CTRL + W w/ no mouse version)
- Jump to Last Alert = CTRL + Caps Lock
- Next Subgroup = CTRL + Space
- Select Army Units = ALT
- Smart Commands = G ( Useful for phoenix Micro)
- Choose Ability or A.I. Target = Q ( Button for Rapid Fire abilities)
- Create Camera Location 1-4 = CTRL + F1-F4
- Create Camera Location 5-8 = Shift + F1-F4
- Jump to Location 1-8 = F1-F8
- Rotate Camera Left = CTRL+ H
- Rotate Camera Right = CTRL + N
- Drag Scroll = Insert
- Base Camera = Space
- Build Basic Structure = ~
- Build Advanced Structure = TAB
- Hold Position = S
- Patrol = T
- Upgrades from Buildings = Z,X,C,V
- Unit and Building Spells and Abilites = Q,X,E
- ( Protoss Only ) Warp In = Caps Lock
2. Customization

One Issue alot of people have is with build basic and build Advanced on Tilde and Tab. If this is you and you would perfer the regular B and V then i would reccomend the following Changes.
- Build Basic = B
- Build Advanced = V
- Select All Army = ~
- Next Subgroup = Tab
- Idle Worker = Ctrl + Space

4. Why you should try this

Well first off i am not claiming that my setup is the most efficent, or even complete yet, But i do believe that if you use the default standard hotkeys then this setup will be a improvement over it. Another thing to note is that this is setup with the random player in mind. Alot of things such as building upgrades and unit spells have been rearraged to either use rapid fire, or reduce the risk of pressing the wrong button. In closing i will say that even if you dont use my hotkey setup download it and check out the way things work. This may help you improve your own hotkey setups.
