2v2 Inter-racial chronoboost

As per PsyStarcraft's video apparently in 2v2 you can chronoboost your team mates buildings even if they are not protoss. (around the 14 minute mark)

Has anyone experimented with any timing pushes with the Protoss team mate chronoing out his allies tech/units in 2v2?

Obvious ones that come to mind are banshee and thor rush? Could have some interesting applications.

you can't chronoboost allies' stuff anymore, that was only possible in early beta

i think if you share control in 2v2 it might work still? im could be wrong tho

you can chrono boost stuff if you neural parasite, and steal a probe, get a nexus, idk about partners though lol

went and tried it out when i saw it on the vid lol

I looked it up at http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Chronoboost when I saw this video.

Apparently you cannot Chronoboost your allies.

Hah, now I have to go test some stuff out of curiosity. Does a chronoed hatch make larva faster? Can you chrono an egg to make it hatch faster (doubt it)? Does it allow a greater spire to morph more quickly?

I can't think of any unusual ideas to use for Terran though...

it was allowed for about 1 month after the beta came out, and then blizzard patched it because it was imbalanced
