Edit: massing queens and speedlings arent a solution if you can kill the reapers off creap and all they have to do is dance on the edge. And when they get a mass critical number of reapers then well everything you have will die, even if you killed the reapers in your base you cant attack either unless you have banelings and if you did you would have no tech so leaves you very vulnerable mid game.

If he has 1 reaper your queen/lings will be good enough. If he has >3 reapers he is putting ALOT of his build into reapers. He likely won't have anything else to defend. Get 3 roaches and go kill him.

with terran having so many options for harassment I feel the sound strategy as zerg is the one that eliminates the most harassment options from their arsenal. For me that is one base tech straight to muta, then expand. One base makes it harder to do damage with hellions or reapers, and also doesn't leave you with a base under a cliff on maps like lost temple. This way, when you go to expand you'll have mutas about ready. Mutas will stop: Tank drops Overlord sniping Vikings on cliffs Banshee Marauder drops/building snipes Marauders in general Hellion drops Hellions in general Anything involving reapers Having control of the air against terran shuts down almost all of their harassment options and makes them fight straight up. While fighting straight up is still very much in their favor imo, at least you don't have to constantly worry about what annoying thing they are going to do to you next while they macro up, Oh, having mutas out and harassing is also the best scouting you can have. It's pretty impossible to not know their army make up when harassing the crap out of them with muta.

How often do you see mass reapers? All he could see was one rax + tech lab, and there's no way he could have seen more than that without potentially sacking an overlord (if the other guy had even one marine). It seems reasonable to me that he would think it's only going to be 1-2 reapers, no? And if you get punished that badly if you assume it's only a couple reapers and it's not, does that mean Z players should now always assume that a T with a tech lab early is going mass reapers because it's GG otherwise?
