i LOVE the center. looks amazing map as well. love the tileset. why does it have 2 thirds??? and im guessing there is space to put down a cc/nex/hatch between the gold and gas???

I would remove the gaps between the main/thirds and instead place the gaps between the main/center. My thoughts is thats a very large cliff space to defend from reapers/colosi/blink-stalker. Also as a small side effect would add about 3 seconds to the air rush distance as its already very short.
I would place the gaps so the only cliff space that can be abused is near the natural ramp and another short cliff on the opposite side near the map center.

I forgot to mention that I love the visuals on this map and I like the gas placements in the main. Something different for once.

without the gap you have a cliff right above your main ^^

If the minerals are split up between 3 sections doesn't that make it a little harder to have even worker saturation? It's a pathetically small difference (probably) but if you are going to do that in the mains you might as well do it for all of the spawn locations.
Also, holy visuals batman!

the mains are way too small, but besides that it looks funny (i guess it is not made for competitive play!?)

yes the main's are quite small but it's a large map so you can put buildings elsewhere since the main's are in the middle it can't be helped.
funny, or fun? I think it's quite nice for competitive play.

Don't like this map, the expansion path is really awkward and the outside is too separated.
|
thanks for your input, it was indeed a challenging map structurally.

The layout sort of reminds me of a 4-player Desert Oasis. Also similar to the BW map Pathfinder. The close island thirds might be a bit terran favored, since they can fast expand to the island instead of their natural without penalty.
Very interesting map though.
