i think the toss lost because zerg is gay. earlier shields would have been nice though TT maelstrom or reavers on d would have been pretty sex also. | ||

I found myself wishing he would get shields when his army was so archon heavy but to no avail, still quite a nice game. | ||

 2) Archons can't attack sunkens, not when zerg has an army anyway. 3) I was trying to fit in more shield batteries at my expo but the solar arrays stopped them -.- 4) He killed my forges tons, archons dont need armor (I had 3-2), and most importantly, I was running out of gas. And if anyone is wondering about the horrible opening, well.. We played 10 times, he opened with good-eco expansion everytime but twice, anyway, I had lost a game to all-in ling just before, so I decided to punish his late pool style with 2 gate @ nat.. Unfortunately I had done the same after losing to all-in ling the day before, and he probably remembered, which lead to him pooling first ;p I'd have gotten shield upgrades if I could afford it. =] | ||

Well since the archons didn't have shield ups the upgraded cracklings were still doing a number on them. And I think the guy had so much money at that point tech switching didn't come to his mind at all. I actually thought you could still win until he got 5 nat secured but I may have just been overoptimistic. :/ | ||

I knew he was using the attacks to get 5 set up but I couldn't do anything about it =/ That was the nail in the coffin since I wouldn't be able to mine from the 5 gas TT I have a game where every expansion on rush hour 2 but one mineral only is mined out and we do a no-money fight for it ;P But apart from that it wasn't as nice, as the zerg managed to get a hidden expo off and basically just played sunken defence | ||

Can't remember if he went lurker ling or hydra this game either (I think lurker) so he might not have had had speed/range even -,- | ||

Edit: T_T Nope I was way wrong. Looks to me like FA forgot he had forges in his main (I guess he thought they died to something?) and made two more at 5 and upgraded armor instead of shields...I guess he thought he was gonna secure it and have plenty of zeals. :| | ||

And it's not like I didn't expect ultras coming, I just didn't think I could afford getting shield instead of another archon. Especially not when I was fighting to keep my only gas :x | ||

That Z had so much money and he threw away so much of it on ling/ultra attacking cannons and archons, and of course the obligatory archon plague. In the end I guess it didn't matter, but that game could've ended so much faster if he had played differently. | ||
