I think Savior at his peak was better than Bisu now. Other than that, the later the better. And one month practice wouldn't help the old players to catch up. The longer the players trained, the better they got.

If we take into consideration that the play level now is astronomically advanced compared to that during 2001, only Savior and Bisu would be contenders for this poll.

Otherwise with "inflation", for me its Nal_rA in his prime because he is the only player in the list who had no one who you could pair up as a "rival". rA's dominance is unique because he won through playing like no one had before, which is why for a period no one could counter it. Every other player during their 'peak' still had a rival that could match them head to toe.

alot of these players had no rivals, thats why they were considered dominant. the 2nd best player during the period was closer for some than others, but who could really match savior or oov during their peaks?

come on...did you guys see any replays/vods from back then? they'd get crushed vs virtually anyone who's on the current proleague rosters.

as for the poll, bisu 2007 or savior 2006, all the others are simply too long time ago =/

2004 Ra?
2005 July?

More like 2003, and 2004.

i agree with everyone about this poll, you can't compare players skill over 7 years, especially after esports went global and sc camps started to pop up well after boxer's prime.

also, nada had another rise a few years back when he won the golden mouse. (i personally didn't follow nada during his early years, so i can't really tell if he was truly awesome 2003).

btw, voted for boxer. his gameplay was so pimp.

if we are talking about them relative to their peers at the time of their dominance

oov wins hands down

IMO he and boxer are 1 and 2 in influencing the way that bw is playing today.

I have no idea what the hell this poll is supposed to mean, but as long as it has NaDa in it, I vote.

I guess this is with inflation. If it is, then either Boxer or Nada. Both were so crazy dominant in their primes. It was just the way they won their games.

inflation? historical stats are inflated by inferior competition, not the other way around.
