I love this style of playing one match from every group every playday so much, it's amazing!
1.) better preparation for players - instead of preparing for three opponents, you prepare for only one of them, meaning you probably will spend more time researching that player. Also, preset maps are awesome imo...
2.) if we get a group like group B (all terran), it is not a boring day of TvT all day every day, it is pretty balanced

Seriously, this may be even better then standard, dual tournament, 1 group per day system GSL uses...

I hope on Gwangalli they put in a firebat that dances around on the stage (looks like 1'o clock's third?), hops off, and jumps in the water.

I think Group A is the obvious group of death, but I will be most excited to watch Group A with my boy Soulkey in it! ^^

Am I the only one that has noticed that Gwangali Beach is asymmetrical? I mean, it's not a huge difference between the sides, but it's definitely there... wonder how it will affect playing on that map...

Such fail again. You have ZZZP group A and TTTT group B.

When do they learn to use P Z T baskets to make groups more balanced considering races? Anyone is bored by mirror matches and esp. TvT nowadays (i play terran myself).

Proper group selections where the players get a pick seem more exciting and produce better groups.

I think its because he hit that massive slump until HotS came out and now he is a monster. What I find interesting is the terran pull through rate here. Keen was the only one to NOT make it to the round of 16.........

Hellbat TvT is brilliant, I love the non-stop action of constant drops and defending and with insane multitasking. Almost every game has some form of early aggression unlike TvZ and TvP, and there are still many different openings available. It's definitely the matchup with the highest skill threshold which is why even so many top players makes mistakes, and many games often hang on a knife edge early to mid game.

Both innovation and flash have pretty darn solid TvT nowadays, don't see the other 2 having much of a chance unless they bust out some super refined build or timing. Funnily enough, hellbat drops reward players with the best mechanics due to the decision making and multitasking involved.
