anyway i don't like labeling every player who loses early in gsl sometimes " inconsistent " because that would make every player except mvp inconsistent

I'd say 4 straight seasons of Code S (including a quarterfinals and semifinals), quarterfinals at OSL, 3rd at WCG, 3rd at WCS Korea, and 2nd at WCS Asia is pretty consistent. And regardless of overall performances, Parting v T (which is what is mostly relevant here) is consistently amazing.

Which would make him inconsistently consistent.

Skillwise there is no other terran better than him. His Decision making, his strategies, his game knowledge and his mechanics are superb. He just needs to play with confidence, then he will win everything! even as a byun fan, ur post makes absolutely shit sense.

Keen plays asd and Shine in his first two matches. TvZ is his best match-up and asd is probably the weakest player in the group, so I think that Keen will get on a role and qualify. Trap beat a Code S Ro.16 level player in Supernova and lost to a Ro.32 level player in GuMiho, so I think he'll be able to beat two of the three Terrans in the group. That just leaves Shine (who lost last round to a Trap-equivalent Protoss in Terminator) and Parting (all the kespa players seem really good at PvP).

Obviously he has a lot better decision making, strategies, game knowledge and mechanics than the 4-time GSL champion and.. well TaeJa. It feels like the furthest Byun has got in any tournament is losing to Seed in the Season 3 GSL semis. I dunno but I'd pick Parting over Byun any day.

Yes, his best result is losing 2-3 to the eventual GSL champion just a season ago. What has parting done lately again?
