That said. Awesome read, awesome hype. This is going to be the best GSL season ever. Go MKP!!!!! If you were just biding your time for the best opportunity to break the kong line curse in spectacular fashion, this is it!
I let Wax do the editing.
I'm just the slave who writes 5,000 word pieces in a day.
5000 words in a day isn't that hard if you already know what you're talking about, don't need to make critical assertions in relation to academic rigour, and don't need to reference it to more than one source
Just to add, I've worked for a company that writes textbooks for the last six years, and five thousand words a day is an insane amount. We generally expect our writers do to 1500-2000 words a day. A writer that can do 2500 words a day is doing well. 5000 words a day, even with work you know and understand, is a ton. Just doing a thorough edit on 5000 words takes me 2-3 hours :p
Someone from Startale has to win this year, please. You've got so many awesome players, and even Bomber is back. I hope that either Parting or Squirtle can take it this year, but it would really make my dreams come true if Bomber could somehow banish the past year of his own personal demons and win it all.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying it isnt a lot of work, but coming from an academic standpoint there are a lot of things that arent required here, mainly referencing and critical skills. That, combined with the fact that as a hobby and interest this material can likely be written about practically from memory, pausing only to check numbers rather than facts, makes the workflow much more smooth and much faster. Its a shitload of time withiut question, even as dictation,at 60 wpm, which is average typing speed, itd be an hour, with no time taken to rephrase, proofread, fact check, format, obtain pictures, etc.
Its probably taken most of a working day to write this, but as far as 5000 words goes, there are much harder tasks to fit into 5000 words than writing about something you could already basically talk about off the top of your head for 5000 wprds.
It justg made me realize tho, Creator isn't in code S this season ?

It would've been nice if Fionn had drawn additional conclusions off the initial groups, discoursing for several thousand additional words on the progress of DRG's ZvT and other things...
Hoping for the LG-IM trifecta to make it far this season. Really want to see something incredible from Nestea. It depresses me to see him slumping so much. :/
