Oh cmon, the gap between A and S now is so minuscule. Take a look at code A brackets yo.

he beat hero in gstl in a macro game ever so convincingly

I really don't care much for this "MVP has fallen off" fad. Regardless of injury, ect, we all know what level he can play at, and I don't think there has been some amazing skill ceiling increase that shows everyone else has been playing stronger than MVP's personal peaks, nor is it soon enough to say he is out of his prime. Maybe everyone else has caught up a bit, or maybe SC2 just isn't as consistant at the higher levels, maybe both, but imo MVP's peak is still the benchmark to measure the all around best player at, and it is too soon to say he is incapable of this level of play anymore. If he shows up healthy and plays to his potential, MVP can easily take first in this group, and take this GSL.

Gogo July!!!!! But seriously, every one of that motherfuckers games are soooooo entertaining to watch. Plus hes a baller. And hes fat. What MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR IN A ZERG?
|
I think any two could advance from this group and it wouldn't be a real surprise.

Gogo MVP! Show the world you still are king!

I don't understand the world. Mvp not expected to make it out of the group is a travesty and testament to the crazy times where in, where nobody is a favorite and there in no such thing as upsets. I hope we see a return of the former king, Mvp. We need a true champion. Not somebody who is gonna win once and be out first round the next. Mvp fighting!!!

"Well, he won't be favored by any means,"
For what it's worth the gom player poll has July favored 58.1% (1023) to MVP's 41.9% (738).

yeah I know I'm at least receiving a warning posting this, but IMO the only reason naniwa is able to "be so good" is because Protoss is just imba nowadays
User was temp banned for this post.

Because it's not like he's beaten any code s protoss players recently...
I hope nani wins it all!

Good for Naniwa, he showed up a lot stronger than I expected. I dunno what happened to Genius though, just folded. Very disappointing there. And something of a shame for Virus, had been hoping he might surprise everyone and spice things up a bit.
In light of the disaster of my prediction last time I don't think I want to make a prediction this time around, heh. Although I'm not sure betting against MVP is a good idea.

nice predictions!
this group was really good btw

Great games outta this group. Hero put on a clinic

Predictions tomorrow, are HerO and MVP to go through, i feel sad as a zerg but never bet against mvp for he is not a mid tier code S player. His TvZ is very good, and so is HerO's PvZ. Even though Leenock's win over MMA was very impressive and looked stunning, MMA himself did not play of the level he can or MVP can play. And July, he's agressive wich fit both HerO and MVP for they are naturaly turtly and feel just fine on the defensive, while July runs out of steam they will go for the throat.

Also good predictions you were so close there, only the final match wrong. And what a game that was.
