How is that pessimistic? Have you been in competition at the highest levels? It's called reality. There is a lot more that goes down in the real world than what you see on tv. I know I wouldn't feel great for being called the so and so president after I lost. No one ever feels good about losing, especially these pros who make their living through tournaments like these.
Anyways, I'm just stating an opinion. There is no need to call me out on that and tell me how I could think such thoughts. I also didn't say he was actually mocking him, I said it seemed like a mockery. Perhaps, it was truly sincere but it doesn't always come off like that coming from the champion.
