I'm not sure if it says anything about the state of esports. What it does do, however, is highlight the lack of integrity and foresight that Savior and the rest of his merry band of idiots have.
bunch of stupid young kids have ruined 10 years of esports history.

This such a piece of shit thing to do. Wow, I didn't even notice that part... Ridiculous, ridiculous. Man I was not around in the time of sAviOr, but I can imagine what his fans must be thinking.....

If the date is right then it's not Savior but type-b or Ruby (Both names start with ㅁ).

Disband of Pro teams, at least CJ entus. Sorry but the team that used to be the Greatest Ones(team name) shall never be dis-banned. Either way always disappointing to hear top names of nostalgia in something like that.

Starcraft players practice like 15 hours a day and make close to nothing. It's not like they were using hacks or cheating in the game, they were just losing on purpose to make more money.
Obviously this isn't really healthy for the industry as a whole, but still on a personal level I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe they shouldn't have chosen to become progamers then. If you want to play games for a living, you'd better like playing games for a living. There is a contract between you and your employer to perform, and they just failed it (also dealt with gangsters apparently lol). It's basically theft, you're taking money while deliberately not doing what you're supposed to get that money for. Do you not see why betraying your sponsor thousands of fans is not a moral thing to do? Or, to get back to the money, do random immigrants working 10 hours a day washing dishes get to throw games?

this. shit. is. insane.
Hwasin.. I can't believe it. Is this why you never got past the Ro16??? Were you always paid to fail even though we all knew you had the potential???
And Savior... wow.
Heartbroken.

only 12 games were rigged?
doesn't seem anything like it had to do with savior's "slump"

this is really damaging to kespa's reputation. people who didn't follow sc1 but are hopping on the sc2 bandwagon are already lighting their torches for the witchhunt.

That's all I fucking care about. Pretty sure the betting site didn't even exist back then. and savior wouldn't have given up the final for 2 to 3k USD. ok? Yeah, I didn't look at the details of when the site came up... But seriously, savior pushed other players in and then stole off the top from them. Seems to me like he'd have sold out his grandmother on the street for 2-3k USD. ok?
he would have won a hell of a lot more than that for a 1st place finish.

This truly makes me wanna cry...
