You are reading too much into a highly speculative scenario.
The only thing I said with regards to Plexa is that I wouldn't mind a person such as himself as Pardoner. That was in one post.
Other than that, I haven't backed him up one bit.

It would be a very stupid move on the mafia's part, to have all their family members supporting one or two individuals in the campaign because a detective will obviously check the two lists to gain knowledge as to who and who isn't mafia.
Let's say 25 vote for Vers, or caller and 8-13 mafia members vote for him. That just made the town's life a lot easier.

I just read over Ver's plan and it isn't bad. I'm not moving my vote yet though.

I'm only interpretting, not saying it's a definite. I do believe that you are suspicious, but you are the least likely of you four right now in terms of evidence to be Mafia. Which is why I want to lynch Klassy or mischief first, to see if they flip red, and then go from there. I do have to ask, though:

Wait, instead of the Mayor being the organizer, how about a Bodyguard? They're guaranteed town.
Basically, the mayor tells the bodyguards the identity of the other bodyguards. Short PMs will confirm this between the bodyguards. Then, we can give information to a known member of the town instead of someone who may in fact be mafia.
Also, how would veterans fit in this?

Veterans should be some of the most outspoken/active members of the town. They should be trying to draw hits from the mafia for being so active. Them taking hits greatly increases the chances of keeping alive the really important roles like bodyguards and detectives

Why would a mafia say something like that? Mafia wants the veterans to lay low so they can kill active contributors without wasting multiple hits on veterans

i have NO idea why mischief basically quoted my post; we've played mafia games together on another messageboard, but that's the only connection we have (i.e. we're not on a mafia team togther in this game)
trust me, if i were mafia there's no way i'd tell her to do some mess like that...her doing that didn't make a bit of sense...and you'll have to ask her why whenever she logs back in cause i have no idea what her logic was behind that...
unless she's mafia and that's a sneak way of trying to get me killed...however (don't get mad mischief)...unless she's got an OUTSTANDING coach who told her to do that cause i don't believe she'd come up with a sneaky/clever idea like that on her own...

Ver, I gave your plan some serious thought. I think your plan is definitely viable.
Here is a variation to entertain the town:
If we have somehow only 1 Elder reveal his identity and run for mayor, then we may have a foolproof innocent mayor.
How? Here is how:
One townie reveal that he is an elder and runs for mayor.
Once he becomes the mayor, detectives should check the alignment of the alleged elder mayor on Day 1.
Case 1 - He appears innocent, detectives remain silent.
Case 2 - He appears mafia, one detective speaks up.
We will then hold the newly elected elder mayor to prove his identity in the following day's votes. If he succeeds, then we got ourselves an innocent mayor.
The above is assuming only one elder came forward and no mafia sabotage.

Outcome:
Case 1: All goes according to plan - An elder mayor.
Case 2: A mafia (God forbid, an Agent of Chaos) who poses to be an elder and runs for mayor, detectives should pick it up on Day 1.
Case 3: In the case of a Godfather/traitor poses to be an elder and runs for mayor, he will be unable to verify his elder status on Day 2 when asked to show his elder ability.
In cases 2 and 3, the names of the bodyguards are revealed to the mafia mayor.
We can then use Ver’s elder backup plan

How do we make sure that there is only one elder running for mayor?
This is a bit tricky, and probably hard to execute as we have around 80 people in the game.
I hope every elder who wishes to announce his candidacy for mayor CHECK AND MAKE SURE there are no other people before him.
If more than one person claims that he is an elder and wants to be the mayor, then
Case 1: We have some idiot elder that did not read the posts.
Case 2: Some mafia member is posing to be an elder.

Also, whenever I leave work today I'll log on and read everything more thoroughly...that was a i-read-everything-really-quickly mayor vote...just wanted to get a vote out there cause i know y'all like to lynch inactives and i knew i'd have time to change it if need be...
