At no point did I recant my claim. My post about Slam "failing the test" is not me recanting my claim, despite what you are inferring.
I have no intention of full claiming, since certain powers I have are better used to the town if kept hidden. I have no intention of claiming any powers that I may or may not have.
For your purposes (and as stated above), I can win with the traditional town win-con (when all mafia and anti-town 3p are dead), so that is how I will play.
Additionally, and as I have stated many times in thread, I do intend to visit the database. I do not intend to specify who I will visit. I do intend to find information about the Corruption Counter. HOWEVER, given that myself, Rayn, and possibly Shockeyy will be visiting, this is seemingly problematic from a corruption counter perspective.

If somehow I die, an eventuality I do not discount, my only real scumread is Shockey. There's really not much to go on so far and about a third of the thread is one player's posts SO there's a lot of noise. The only person I'm confident enough to townread at the moment is iamp. I was suspicious of his seeming parroting of rayn early on but his break with rayn's line and his general demeanor since rayn left the thread gives me the impression he's honestly trying to solve the game.
I think Hapa is generally pro-town as well and I don't think it's a good idea to kill him when he can win with us. I doubt that Hapa's plan as mafia was to fakeclaim 3P on D0. That said I would like to know HOW he can win with town. I assume that means he can win if he's alive when town wins, and if that's the case then we should probably protect him. If he continues to be a voice of reason in the thread and gives out honest reads there's no reason mafia wouldn't target him and any town ability to save him could be truly useful, essentially allowing us an edge in numbers.
My win-condition is phrased approximately as "You have this [win condition], but you also win with town."
In my view, this means I can just win with town as if I was a normal townie, and that's how I intend to play.

(if we think we can control any of this). sending at least 1 seems undeniable good. so does sending more than 3. here is how i see it: sending 1 person: Gives us the chance to semi-check that person. if they go we get the info they give and can make our reads of that. If they dont go we can see it in the corruption increasing - thus making them scum for not playing with town. If we end up sending a mafia (or any 2 player faction) they can swap between them if one have a better night action than the other. We would have a hard time knowing if this happened. edit after writing the other scenarios below: This opens up to someone going that we didn't choose. They can then use this information for themselves. Sending 2 persons: Similar to above, but one of the 2 can just not go and do their nightaction anyway. Then we can only make our reads from the info they then have to fake. Sending 3: Gets us the most info since we get 3 different kinds of hints. BUT its so easy for scum and/or 3p to go themselves to increase corruption. Last scenario: Not deciding on anything and let people figure it out on their own. This option will not really give us any infomation going forward as we dont have anything to compare to. all in all i think we should send 1 or 2. None seems like a missed opportunity. 3 seems risky if we want to keep the corruption low. Now i dont have time to figure who should go or what they need to check. Hopefully i can get to that later...

It seems like Dirkzor is pretty clearly third party but needed to destabilize in the thread to setup for his win condition. I think he knew that he would be a likely check and wanted to preempt that by just telling us he'd return as 3rd party/non-town.

dirkzor town. i disagree with grackaroni. there are things in his claim that make me believe he is telling the truth, i think he would have claimed otherwise as 3p. Public power like that in any case looks more like townie power.
shockeyy town. I dont actually have a role that says anything about shockeyy, it was part of my plan for using my power but i ditched the original plan because i made a better one. However shockeyy later on (when i called him town) sounds really townie. Mafia shockeyy is way more robotic and doesnt really "play in the moment" that much. Also the weird Acrofales shit in his post doesnt ever come from mafia in my opinion, it's too convoluted to create a lie like that lol (and for no reason).

Hapa confirmed 3p. If 2 mafia teams = kill immediately, if doesnt help = kill immediately, never ever put protection on a player that is not town, that's the silliest thing suggested this game. He's gonna thank us for that by leaving the game if he has an opportunity to do so.
yamato scum lean. reads he made are very easy. scalling shockeyy mafia is probably the easiest thing to do bucause shockeyy generally doesnt have reads and by default that usually looks like "posting nonsense". read on iamp is easy to make, then he ignored the person who disagreed with him for no apparent reason. Read on hapa looks more like making friends than making a read. I dont think anyone who is town can dismiss the possibility of there being more than one mafia team. If that's the case, Hapa is probably mafia no matter how pro-town he appears (since in that case also mafia can scumhunt). yamato isn't even exploring that possibility, and even goes far enough to call PROTECTION on a player that is NOT TOWN BY THEIR OWN WORDS. So i dont want Hapa to check the corruption counter. The reason for that is that the more i thought about it even mafia most likely dont have any intention to lie about a game mechanic D1. The only faction that has possible intention to lie is 3p. Note that i dont mean hapa will necessarily lie about it, i am just saying it is possible. That's why i am going to go and check that. With me the benefit also is that even if i die the information will come to the thread one way or another.
Acrofales is right though that Hapa should go and do whatever. Just to make sure a cult doesnt get bigger :D

Like for reals, aside from the corruption counter thingy the database looks quite useless at least to me. Basically the best action would be to force all mafia to go there every night, and one townie to check what the corruption level does. That's the textbook best play.

Yeah that was my idea. But there are a couple of problems.
What if we have like 1 person "missing"? How do we determine who that person is? Since you dont always find even relevant information there. Other thing is that the information of mafia KP being an action or not is apparently unclear.

It might make sense if we think Mafia have better actions than town but it's kind of hard to check who actually goes from the options available.
Maybe you could make everybody visit the person above/below them and check whether they have a role that was in a previous aperture game. With that option I think you could at least potentially catch some people lying.

The counter is definitely going to increase if we all go. We definitely know mafia is going to visit no matter what, it’s in their interest. I prefer sending one or two towns if there’s three mafia. Rayn you said KP doesn’t count as an action for the database right?
