Well, if its like my own one off power it just sort of happens. I don't think my ability could get roleblocked (i cant be sure of course).
I'm also noting that greymist didn't do anything. This might mean nothing or it might mean it was a fake ability. Why rayn would do that i don't know. That's why i want more information. Right now it doesn't mean anything without any context and that makes me think its scummy.

It's a greymist game, people posting weird shit in the thread and that having a public, private or no effect at all is kinda par for the course. I don't really read too much into people activating abilities until it's clear what happened. Like in your case, it was clear that whatever you did, caused an event horizon to appear and the corruption to increase. We then have to believe you that the event horizon counter thingy is a good thing. I am choosing to do so.
Speaking of, why didn't the event horizon counter decrease with the phase change?

I dont know. I thought it would decrease at each phase end. Maybe its a whole phase. My pm just says "...decreasing by 1 each phase." So... thats not how i thought it would work.
I agree it might not mean anything, but it still worth noting for the future.

I dont know how many to send. (if we think we can control any of this). sending at least 1 seems undeniable good. so does sending more than 3.
here is how i see it:
sending 1 person: Gives us the chance to semi-check that person. if they go we get the info they give and can make our reads of that. If they dont go we can see it in the corruption increasing - thus making them scum for not playing with town. If we end up sending a mafia (or any 2 player faction) they can swap between them if one have a better night action than the other. We would have a hard time knowing if this happened.
edit after writing the other scenarios below: This opens up to someone going that we didn't choose. They can then use this information for themselves.
Sending 2 persons: Similar to above, but one of the 2 can just not go and do their nightaction anyway. Then we can only make our reads from the info they then have to fake.
Sending 3: Gets us the most info since we get 3 different kinds of hints. BUT its so easy for scum and/or 3p to go themselves to increase corruption.
Last scenario: Not deciding on anything and let people figure it out on their own. This option will not really give us any infomation going forward as we dont have anything to compare to.
all in all i think we should send 1 or 2. None seems like a missed opportunity. 3 seems risky if we want to keep the corruption low.
Now i dont have time to figure who should go or what they need to check. Hopefully i can get to that later...

No i have no clue. I thought it would be a clear cut change. But it wasnt. Maybe some abilities/power only become active once it increase? I'm guessing here. Havent played other greymist games so....
