Tonight Palmar had been executed. Day 2 has ended.
Announcement: Please welcome LightningStrike to the game. He replaces Onegu, effective immediately.
It is now Night 2. Please submit your night actions to Shapelog, scott31337 and myself. There is no resolution period. Night 2 ends in at 23:00 GMT (+00:00).
MoosyDoosy, as General Hux (Mafia Vigilante) was arrested!
Chezinu, as Finn (Detective), walks home, unharmed. nooniansoong, the leader of the Kanjiklub (Wanderer) leaves the fray, somewhat satisfied, whilst LightningStrike, a scavenger (Miller) looks at him disgruntled. Pilots Darthfoley, disformation and boxerfred (Town Vanilla) climb into their planes unharmed.
The final mafia has been modkilled...
Town Victory!
Takodana (Observer QT) is here. Starkiller Base (Mafia QT) is here.
Shoutout to Shapelog and scott31337 for cohosting.
There are plenty of games open for signups if you are interested - the Newbie/Vet game as well as the Cell game are open. Keep your eyes on the Active Games List.
OP was not clear, I discussed with 1-2 other veteran moderators some potential solutions to a situation where scum no-shot in a mandatory shot game. Obviously this doesn't account for a situation where multiple members of the scumteam were alive should this happen, that's a more tricky situation I would think. Other alternatives had other downfalls that I discussed.
Next time I have a mandatory shoot game the OP will be clearer on how failure to submit will be handled.
Second thing is the balance. The role distribution itself was okay, but I made the general mistake of not collectively upgrading my m13 roles (as I discussed in the observer QT) for larger games, medic was a bit underpowered and I should have considered the strongman, although technically conditional, a mandatory kp. Thus, mafia really had one too many kp.
So I take responsibility for those things and I will sort those out next time. Admittedly not for awhile due to real life, but still.
That said in a separate post, I'll address a few of the new-ish players from a pure gameplay perspective. I'm really glad to see some of the newer players challenge themselves with the larger games.

Maybe I have more reservation on The Chez; why did you WIFOM your claim EON3 ????? I would have pushed you soooo hard for that if I was still alive p: you shouldn't have been scared of being killed since it was GOOD for town! WIFOMing like that only adds chaos to the game.
Honestly with the collective town play, might warrant a nomination for best collective town play. We'll see how it stacks up against other games when the year ends, but I think this is worth a shoutout.

Hopefully your other half liked what we had here, maybe will sign up in the future for a game someday?
Yiss. 'Tis very interesting. Like listening to a morbid version of Big Brother on the radio. Maybe after a few more watches, as a lot of the game seems to be poking on how people have previously played - obv something a newb will have no use in. Looking forward to seeing more of this tho!
You might want to keep an eye out for the newbie games to get your feet wet - the newbies obviously won't be using meta (which is what you're referring to here) against each other and as I'm sure marv's told you already, you'll also have a coach to help you out or give you a different perspective on how you see things, how your scumhunting (or scumgame, if you RNG scum) can further you to victory.
