Artanis and rsoultin had spent the past several days hiking together in Germany through much of the famed Mosel vineyards and onwards to Frankfurt. Pitching a tent near the castle, they roasted smores over a small fire. Their plan was to hike around the castle and continue north on a nearby trail.
"Hey Tina, there are a few castles also north of us but this one is famous from Shelley's novel. There are a few overnight tours that extend through the night, maybe we can pay a few euros for a drop in. It might be a very cool idea," suggested Artanis.
She looked at her purse. "How much are we talking?"
"Well we don't have to pay the lodging fees," he said, "so definitely not the 53 euros that most over visitors are paying. But we'll sign waivers and see what we can get for a drop in, unless they don't have the staff to accommodate us."
At around 2330, they cleaned up and made way towards the castle. Artanis explained his situation and ultimately, the pair dropped in for 20 euros each.
Disformation met them at the front door.
"Greetings," he said delightfully. "We do get a few drop ins off the hiking trail. Generally loads of backpackers. You came in during one of the few days you are able to. Be aware that as we have separate overnight tours going on in the premises, some of the access you have will be very limited, access to the extensions will require an additional fee."
"I think we're quite alright," Artanis replied. "We're looking at a few hours max and we need to get some sleep before we're on our way."
He and rsoultin proceeded forth, going past the main restaurant, through the main courtyard.
"I'm a bit intrigued by the tunnel of death," she told him as her ruby necklace shimmered briefly in the light.
"Then, let's do it."
The pair proceeded hand in hand through the catacombs and were intrigued by the patterns of skulls lining the walls.
Rsoultin then wandered around a corner to take a look at a mirror as Artanis kept proceeding forward, the slight fatigue wearing on him.
"Hey Tina," he said, "let's try and make our way towards the bog."
No response.
"Tina?"
No response.
Artanis doubled back towards the mirrors that rsoultin was taking a look at. No sign of her.
"Alright, Tina," he started. "Seriously, no time for games."
He heard a crunch beneath his foot in the rubble. Upon stepping back, he immediately recognised the ruby necklace Tina had been wearing.
Then he felt a slippery substance. He lit his pocket torch.
rsoultin's necklace was covered....in blood.
In a panic, Artanis screamed her name, rushing in a blind panic trying to search for his companion in vain. Finally, he opened the castle map, and found his way to the crypt.
The first thing he saw was a fresh puddle of blood. A few metres away, was his companion's bag.
Artanis screamed with a pain that cut to the bottom of his heart.
Vivax, a tourist (Town Vanilla), has been lynched.

marvellosity, startled by the recent death of an American guest that had dropped into the castle for the night, wandered around the castle and the attachment to the lodge. On the way back to the lodge, he noticed a hallway referring to the Henker von Bessungen. Armed with a pocket knife and his karate skills - he had just achieved his red belt and was hungry for more - he was fearless wandering into the hallway and taking in the history of the castle.
Foolishness, who was on the travelling party as well, followed him through the hallway and mentioned to him there was a secret passageway that cut straight to the restaurant, but also that the passageway also cut close to the staff quarters at the lodge.
"How do I access this? Might mean more beer for us, you know." Marv quipped.
Foolishness walked up to a hook mounted in the wall and jammed it towards the floor. Instantly, the bookshelf started to move inwards against the wall, revealing a short gap. The two slipped through to another short hallway with several knights templar and sentry guard statues in armour and weapons in tow.
"Well this is nice," muttered Marv. "What now?"
Foolishness motioned towards the staff quarters. "Let's get ourselves some extra beer."
"Meh, German beer is never as good as our ale. Particularly if it's from Yorkshire. You realise this, right?"
"Yorkshire? You're such a snob. Of course you're biased."
The two walked towards disformation's office. In front of the doors were two sentry statues, both with axes in tow.
He stepped forward and banged loudly on the guide's door.
All of a sudden, the hallway emitted laser beams separately, splitting the two in the hallway.
"No alarm," responded Foolishness, "but something tells me I shouldn't leave you here. Not in the Henker hallway."
"Henker?"
"That's German for executioner."
"Oh please I'm not superstitious."
Next to disformation's office was a short hallway which Marvellosity attempted to enter.
"Alright, go that way, and climb out the window, that's your only hope." responded Foolishness.
But that attempt failed. Just as marv stepped past the vestibule, laser security zapped him as the sensors activated. As he fell forward, the large axe from the sentry guard next to the sensor fell forward, severing his head.
Foolishness narrowly avoided choking on his own vomit as marvellosity's head rolled back to the main hallway.
marvellosity, a member of the touring party (Town Vanilla), loses his head!

Sn0_Man woke up in the middle of the night as the thunder and lightning in the area roared ever louder.
The nightmares were real. In front of him were a mix of ghosts and angry spirits, dancing in front of him.
And then all of a sudden, the spirits attempted to grope him.
Screaming, he ran out of his room as the evil forms chased him into the main area of the castle.
Then out of nowhere, a spirit grabbed his leg and held it firmly still.
He grabbed a nearby piece of wood and attempted to smack the spirit off him, but failed. Then a second spirit pinned him to the floor as he screamed frantically.
The ground shook and Sn0_Man saw the circular shadow grow ever larger around him.
What followed was a clattering of glass that sung through the castle.
Beneath the mounds of glass from the broken chandelier, a stream of blood began to creep out from underneath.
Sn0_Man, the tourist (Town Vanilla), was crushed by a falling chandelier.

Day 3
I shuddered in my bed next to my husband as I woke up. Another day, another nightmare and I couldn't comprehend why. I ran to the mirror wondering if anything happened to my friend disformation who worked there day in and day out.
Alex was still lying down in bed peacefully asleep but I looked about, scanning my body for the slightest hint of injury or infection from the evil spirits that danced about Frankenstein castle. The stories coming out of the area indicated some sort of deliciousness from the victims or those that disappeared as they did.
I saw the castle's Twitter feed; all seemed pretty normal.
For now. I was unharmed for now.
Nobody was killed tonight.
sicklucker was protected by the benevolent ghosts.
