I am still kinda puzzled why people decided not contributing anything & not voting -- in a game where voting is mandatory and you are supposed to contribute does not result in a ban instead of warnign. Of course you are allowed, as either alignment, to contribute a minimal amount for whatever reason, but not contributing AT ALL (=zero posts or no vote) is in my opinion against the game's rules. Especially when someone not voting results usually in a asituation where town does "let's not lynch this guy because he will get replaced" (=no harm for the no-voter if they are mafia) instead of "forced to lynch the person who is not voting".(=the no-voter playing against their wincon) as it was before.

If this is about MoosyDoosy, it's just that I generally get a lot of crap when I request bans, so... yeah. I mean, we'll know if he does this again. Also, he was contributing a while ago THEN stopped for 24h, instead of literally not playing. I stand behind the warning request. I feel like I generally get a lot of crap any time I request any kind of ban list actions so in the future I'll leave requesting ban list action in the hands of my cohost and Foolishness, rather than me submitting them to Foolishness. This will be the most transparent and hopefully alleviate people's concerns.

I mean the rules should be same for everyone, obviously, It jsut seems like lately, in almost all the games run here, there are multiple people who are, at the end of the day in the "not voting" column. It's bad. And it apparently doesn't stop unless the hosts force them to vote with "failing to vote results in an immediate modkill and a ban".

That being said i'm not sure what marv did is worse than what other people do as scum where they go afk and barely post. At least marv had the decency to know he was going to do that and ask for a replacement.

Marv knew beforehand he wouldn't play as mafia. In Vengeful, I did have the intent to play as scum and tried more than a few times to try to play. I failed, but I did try.

Actually in this specific case it was because I keep rolling mafia over and over again in invite games in particular. So while I'm not excusing my actions, it's a more specific circumstance than "not wanting to play scum"

But yeah, dick move, marv has a good history here though so meh. I wish people in general would put more effort into their scumgames (hey looksie, I'm trying to lead by example!) because good scumplay is what makes mafia entertaining.

Approved: On January 18 2016 19:42 raynpelikoneet wrote: Let's say it's gonna be a 5-game ban so i don't even hae to think about playing in a year or so. Since Rayn was banned once in the last 6 months, and has no outstanding warnings. So: a standard ban length is 3 bans. That's what we'll go with if everyone is okay with that. I don't know what happened where someone decided to post a role PM. Let's all strive to do better. Hey, I carried two zero-effort players to victory in vanilla! You're not alone in "people who pull out their A-game as scum" Palmar.

But rolling mafia several times in a row is just draining and generally unbearable.

I was scum 7 games inarow and had to put up with you being a huge dick and I didnt stop. Its excuses. ITs Ironic your saying this I was playing adequately ( probably played better then you) but had to put up with your constant bm and pms while you hate me for it for some reason but if its marv its ok no harm done. And that was in a game we steam rolled I wonder what would have happened if we were ever not autowinning that

And that was in a game we steam rolled I wonder what would have happened if we were ever not autowinning that Of course those are excuses - never said they weren't. I also rolled mafia like 4 times in a row and still played the game because I expect the same from other people but that doesn't change the fact that it is tiring as shit. Btw. maybe I acted like a dick that game but you did too and you would have never won it if I hadn't put in the effort to get mislynch after mislynch done all game while you tried your best to lose by doing nothing but bussing and afking. But I have to admit that you have improved a lot since then. I don't think we would have had problems had I joined one of the recent games. Regarding the "constant pms" I really don't know what you are talking about though. Our dispute was happening almost exclusively in the scum qt as far as I remember it. Maybe I pmed you once or twice when something urgent was going on in the game and you weren't answering anymore in the qt because you were acting like a pussy but otherwise I don't think I ever pmed you.
