tbf what you don't know and couldn't know is i'm a consummate spammer as both alignments and have been trying (quite unsuccessfully) to curb that habit lol >< that was the source of most of the "i'm leaving now" but never quite managing it posts ^^

really, the only real critique i have about your play...wrong is wrong we were all pretty wrong to varying degrees after all...is to approach the game with an open mind and engage more. you made up your mind really early and focused on only one thing -shrugs- without being willing to even probe for more information which i think was your main mistake really, apart from not really doing anything but tunneling me all day phase ^^

I wasn't separating old/new players, the separation was already there. This was made particularly obvious when HF pulled his stuff. Me, Rayne, and Yamato were the most pissed about it, most other players seemed to not particularly care.

This. As an outsider, I vouch for this. There was no division and people were just throwing out reads until you made your big post about differences in playstyles.
Even if there are different playstyles, the smart decision would be to combine them to catch Mafia and not complain about it.

i get frustrated and waspish easily when people don't understand. it's a personality flaw
and angry people don't tend to think rationally. i don't blame igrok. objectively, if he'd done more than tunneled me and instructed everyone else how to play, he would have had an easier time getting townread. that's really the only takeaway here
i can't promise i'll change unless i stop stream-of-consciousness and prod-based posting. but i'm a tonereader on d1 when there's not a lot of information yet and believe it or not, those prods and the playfulness is how i get my reads on the players i know. it's a method that works for me. sorry for the trouble it caused!

Then she's a bad townie. If you're pro-town, you want to convince people of your scumreads, but more than that you want to convince them that you're town. Being evasive and dismissive is objectively bad town play. Why should town put up with it? Lynch her, eliminate either scum or unhelpful town whatever her alignment is, and move on with the next day.
That goes for anyone, not just RS. Townies who play anti-town styles should be lynched Day 1. Eventually they adapt and the game gets better for it.

If you lynch every townie that plays somewhat suboptimally you will never win a game of mafia ever. Unless you rolled scum that is.

I didn't say sub-optimally, I said anti-town. Refusing to communicate or answer questions is actively anti-town.
