Given how more than half the game is a solid townread, with Onegu and potentially someone else pending, it is highly likely that you'll have to spam regardless.

Now that you pointed it out, Onegu did vote LS at a crucial time, but Palmar switching to BM does not feel that significant as both BM and Vivax are likely town. Also, Onegu keeping his vote on LS all day rather than choosing a side kind of counts against him, but N2 should create some clarity here.
If Toad is scum he CCed a town vig to almost guarantee a 1 for 1 trade by D2. He also felt really genuine spamming his case, really believed in it and I had a productive session with him solving the game during N1. Hks reads also completely matched mine. No way is he scum.

I refuse to believe Rayn's towngame is this bad, he pretty much has to be scum.
Also Vivax please get out of la la land where after rolling scum 2 out of 3 times in my last 3 games I step up my activity as scum by over 100% of my best scumgame so far. It's starting to get annoying. Rayn can pretend because he's probably scum but you don't get that luxury.

Not really. LS bussed in JOAT a lot because he felt his mafia teammates looked bad. Could easily have felt Rayn looked bad and bussed him for that reason. In fact it makes more sense that way than for him to make shit up on a town player.
