Do we think there is 1 or 2? I appreciate the defense and agree its original scum left most likely (again I've missed a decent chunk of the thread) if we don't have any reason to doubt Austin's status as he was a green check and amiko would have had to nuke his teammate in a situation where the next day he could win its between thrown and hopeless. Hopefully there is just one left seems its on hopeless over thrown. I might be around if I don't go back to sleep when meds kick in. But, I feel like there's a good chance the game will end on this lynch (if we lynch properly, hopefully gg. if we mislynch and there's two, gg. if we mislynch and there's one that can convert, gg). That said, I tend to think one scum is left - I think there probably was more than one scum on d1, but I also feel like the no-kill d1 may go hand in hand with conversion. It's possible KP was blocked/saved but I don't know. We have focused too much on whether there is 1 or 2 remaining because either way, the remaining scum was probably scum d1. Suspects are you, hopeless, thrawn. I asked hopeless to take a look and he came up with a few things ( http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/mafia/445571-doctor-who-mafia-2?page=139#2773) but it didn't feel like enough to me. So, I feel like hopeless is a better lynch than thrawn, mostly due to looking at their interactions with kita/kush. But those two are more likely than you (despite your more or less afk). feel better! | ||

I don't think the votes are damning. Kush just squatted on rayn from the very start, doesn't appear to care. Hopeless doesn't vote rayn until a little ways after kita drops his biggish case post, and rayn and kita fight a bit. If you want to both vote someone, your votes are spread out, you have a hidden vote unclaimed, and hopeless gets in at a nice time ---> pick a side between rayn/kita, vote, done. He says he wasn't townie on rayn previously, but otherwise, there's nothing really about rayn's ALIGNMENT in hopeless's filter D1, so makes sense as an opportunistic vote once rayn and kita start going at it. i AM weirded out by Hopeless's D2 mentions of Kita though. He wants to lynch kita to avenge rayn ---> doesn't like JJD's accusations against kita + thinks all rayn voters town (so had both kush town AND kita, who would now be converted we think, town) ---> durdling around with kita during kita and vivax sniping at each other ---> "Kita seems like he's working towards a town-oriented goal" (as part of a reads list) Especially this post: On April 03 2014 01:17 Hopeless1der wrote: Just chainsaw defending kita, attacking JJD out of the blue for the kita suspicion, when Hopeless himself seems to have been fine with a kita lynch to start the day, and ends the day at "kita pursuing town-oriented goals", which isn't like...KITA IS THE TOWNIEST TOWN. "Kita retconned his case on rayn". I fundamentally disagree with this statement because Kita's case relied on the fact that he tried to get rayn to look into his meta and rayn refused to do so. It was an ongoing process that rayn never pursued him and that is what kita found scummy about rayn. So I'd want to lynch JJD for tunneling kita while being completely sure that he's right every step of the way. He never wavers, never reconsiders. I'd also lynch gumshoe for actively refusing to play this game. This should be self explanatory. | ||

We are fairly certain that conversion can overcome vet-protection because kita was converted (who was vet) and we are fairly sure it happened N1. We don't know if doctor/jail protects on the target can stop conversions, or whether roleblocks on the converting person stop conversions. I sort of think doctor protects will not save someone but I'm just speculating somewhat wildly based on rayn's role pm. | ||

Yes it should because the assumption is that you got sick and thus your ability to play went to hell. If you were not sick, you'd be held to a much higher standard but now we all feel slightly guilty for calling you scummy for inactivity when you have a pretty good excuse. | ||

Somewhat reassuring that hopeless trusts austin to win the game after austin votes for him (if hopeless sees austin as mis-reading him, I would think hopeless would have less confidence). @Hopeless1der: I think only question I have: you feel pretty certain scum is more likely to be thrawn than tehpoofter? I know I asked you to focus on thrawn the other day, I'm just wondering if you feel that way independently. (If you are scum it's okay if you ignore this; I don't think my vote will move unless someone claims scum, but it's a comment I'd like to have if you flip town and we do end up with another day) | ||

Before your exercise (and my flaring up at thrawn about LXIII) I would have said thrawn is almost confirmed town off activity alone, but hadn't considered content. I feel better about thrawn being scum than poof, especially how poof calls us dicks for considering nuking him feels jovial and not at all scummy. | ||
