As many games as we played together, nothing stand out in my mind more than Boardwalk. I may as well have been arguing with a brick wall. One of those immensely frustrating kind of arguments too, knowing that I was right and just couldn't tear down the wall. But also the kind of thing that I look back on and remember as one of the fondest/funniest interactions I've had in any game. On another note, it's always weird hearing what other people think about how I play, and what I am/was good at. Mostly because of how rarely it coincides with what I personally think my stronger attributes were. Different perspectives! Anyways, if you or anyone else ever wants to game, I'm always around steam (my profile) or bnet client (Laggy#1503) and even still hang out on the TL IRC channel. I kind of tend to bounce around from game to game without sticking to anything longer than a month or two, though. Currently playing the heck out of some Rocket League, and I'll probably at least play some of the new D3 season that starts tomorrow.

I'm also generally down to play video games, but like I said I keep odd hours for any of my fellow Americans. Maybe less so for dirty euros. But ya, I've mostly been playing Heroes. I'll probably disappear entirely once Overwatch is released, I got it on XBone though so chances are I won't be seeing anyone from here up in there.

Since you're on normal Euro hours, do you happen to play on the EU server for Heroes?

The days are longer so activity can be slower. That means you don't come home from work with 20+ pages to read. And it's okay if you can't log on for a few days. The downside is almost half the players are replaced usually by the end of the game, just because the game lasts so long. I recommend that people who want to play mafia but can't due to busy lives or being unfairly banned check it out.

It's uniquely suited for your playstyle since dying every minute is considered perfectly normal!

You need SO many matches to progress down multiple tank trees. WoWS would maybe be interesting, but even slower games and still hecka grind is pretty unappealing.

WoWS would maybe be interesting, but even slower games and still hecka grind is pretty unappealing. Pah I am tier 7 all trees. No paid time either. I can teach you in a snap how to progress really quickly (wows. World of tanks is in fact a ridiculous grind I only play tier 3 Japanese heavy and the TOG I bought) Translation on reflection: world of warships is not as much of a grind. Though the ships have a slower map traverse rate, this does not mean the game is much slower. You do find yourself in situations to be sure and must keep watch on many factors! I was able to grind to tier 7 for most trees (all that I care about, as I am a Battleship/Cruiser player) rather quickly. Getting to the fun tier, 5, can be done in two days on a normal gaming schedule, or in about 5 straight hours one could grind to T5. You have to do exceptionally well though (carry your team) and I can teach this for all the starting trees. Tiers by fun level, fwiw: + Show Spoiler + Tier 1: fun. Fast little tin cruisers with a good fire rate Tier 2: cruisers are grinds that are pure anus, destroyers are so hilarious that I still have Umikaze in port Tier 3: fun all branches unles you are Kawachi. But that's just to pay for all the evil you get to commit after that ship Tier 4: WG reminds you that war is hell Tier 5: WG says "shit shit shit our players are leaving gotta give them something cool... Unless it's USN battleship players they'll put up with anything. Tier 6: best tier so far IMO Tier 7: heaven and hell in the same tier. Ship dependent Tier 8+: Super Unicum, expensive badassery that you must grind lower tiers to support via credit farming, the reason people play this game Special note: Aircraft Carriers; people who are so addicted to winning that they withstand withering grinds just to be on top at tiers 7+. Or the dudes who bought a Saipan
