Riots in Website Feedback subside

This is GMarshal with TL News here in Blogs, to where we have relocated after the celebrating masses of people in Website Feedback were ushered out by the Administrative Enforcers, after having their demands met by the administration. For those who have not been following this epic struggle between the defenders of liberty and the oppressors, you can find our completley unbiased news reports here and here. These riots originally spilled over to Website Feedback from the mafia subforum

Today we strive to report the events that have transpired over the past few days, as our coverage was interrupted due to the unfortunate distraction posed by herds of ponies. As of the time of our last report tensions were swiftly rising, with rabble raisers and scum urging more dramatic measures to be taken against the administration. These men, memebers of the occupy hot_bid movment were quoted saying things like





these clear incitations were accompanied by ultimatums like



These escalating threats and the lack of response were highly worrying, causing some residents of liquidia to suggest promoting a public figure of some importance to a position of higher responsibility where the situation might be defused


Unfortunately Mr.GM was not available for comment, and soon the idea was quashed by the violent and unreasonable mob, who wanted blood. In one of the more reasonable statements we got from the rioters:


unfortunately this was the tone of wrath that was present in the thread that day, with conspiracy theories involving aliens and hot_bid abounding. One conspiracy theory in particular however seemed to take root, based on the outrage at the demands of the rioters being ignored, coupled with the completely unnecessary legislation to increases the volume of blogs on the sidebar.Whispers like:



were common in the furiously ranting mob. Rage at the lack of a response and accusations of the administration hurting esports through their lack of cooperation and communication led to such statements as:

This led to people not involved in the riot, or even directly affected by the situation to take up arms in outrage and join the furiously rioting mob, our agent on the site managed to get the following comments:







It was in the middle of this escalation that a single man, now known as the Polish Terror, decided to take matter into his own hands. Taking a gamble he headed into Team Liquid Community and issued a manifesto, daring in both its content, accusations and tone. For those not too sensitive, it can be found here. This shocked and appealed many , and only added flames to the fire when the administration instantly cracked down and forced the man and his manifesto to leave TL Community, censoring all the content of the manifesto. The Polish Terror himself hardly escaped unscratched.

The reactions to the manifesto varied widely, from some, who knew that the administration would not sit idly by and allow such a smirch upon their honor

to others who fully supported the Polish Terror's almost terroristic actions with statments such as


to people who thought the ideas contained in the manifesto had merit, and had simply been misrepresented, one such wackjob was heard saying



this madman's translation was further supported by that of another mad conspiracy theorist who filled in some of the "errors" in the first's translation


The administration, which had yet to provide a reply to any of the demands made my the rioters had but one thing to say to the Polish Terror. A stance that has held sacred on TL since time immemorial. The man with the red hammer had just one thing to say before shutting down the operations of the Polish Terror:

The anger caused by this crackdown of the administration, which was obviously monitoring the situation without providing a response to the rioters demands was escalated by a shocking news report written by our number one photographer, Mr.Wiggles. For those who missed the original report it can be found here. The fact the the lid was blown on Hot_Bid's affair with blogs, explained the favoritism that they seemed to be receiving in this time of crisis, the hidden resistance to adding mafia to the sidebar and pushing the blogs further down the line, and of course the incriminating chat logs that were discovered. Even people not directly involved with the situation were shocked, with such statements as

The people who were more involved of course had more to say. Some of the more tame statements said: (the less tame statements were not appropriate for public consumption_

Through these troubling events cries were made to the administration, reminding them of their duties to the mafia community and urging them to give equal rights to this oppressed and downtrodden group statements such as:







In the midst of this a whole new batch of ridiculous conspiracy theories arose, spurred on by the fact that the most plausible of the previous theories had been proven true, these people issued theories that ranged from the plausible:

to the utterly ridiculous


These conspiracy theories were accompanied by the appearance of a new man, known by his chosen alias of Mask, his agent provided us with the following statement



In the already charged atmosphere the religious undertones and threats of increased violence were extremely worrying, leading observers to scramble for cover and TL News to pull almost all of its field agents for their safety. The danger of the situation was clearly demonstrated when a dissenter had the gal to confront the turbulent mob and oppose their wishes with the following incendiary statement:

The response was rapid and almost unanimous, while all opposed his statement with fiery and eloquent rhetoric, some wanted to take it a step further, inflicting violence on the man, who bearly escaped with his life, as one particularly angry rioter chasted him while yelling:


The man is rumored to have escaped with his life, although this is unconfirmed. We here at TL News hope he made it out ok. During this time the protests continued to demand an official response and restate their reasoning behind demanding fair and equal representation.

Then the terrible happened, the thing we had wished to avoid, a witch hunt was to begin. The supporters of hotbid were to be found and killed. This reign of murder and terror was to be instituted when enough support was found. In the words of the manifesto of the Evil Overlord



Fortunately it was as this horrifying event was about to begin that R1CH, the wise leader of the administration overcame the opposition in Hot_Bid and successfully implemented the demands of the mafia rioters, leading to a swift end to the riots and an eviction of the rioters from website feedback. R1CH the mighty had the following statement to issue about the riots and escalating violence


No one was confirmed injured as a result of the riots and everyone got what they desired. We here at TL News are happy that no one was killed despite the atmosphere of wrath and escalating violence, and are happy that the situation was resolved both peaceably and swiftly.This will hopefully be the last we hear of riots taking place in website feedback
