So yeah, rayn. Unless you give 101% guarantee that Pandain is scum, call me honey and promise you would never lie to me, I am on Seuss for scum.

I think in the end of the day mad rush I gave him more credit than he deserved, and weighted the meta rebuffs I'd received too heavily. Maybe I'm just jealous, but he got to dance around all of day 1 while I and others got grilled. I don't like that, and I don't like that I really don't know where he stands on anyone at the moment.

Combined with his N1 actions, I'm sticking with my scum read. I regret having powered him up.

I am conflicted about this post because on the other hand it's a total 180 on Oats for idk what reason and it contradicts his behavior regarding Oats on D1.
On the other hand the second paragraph is exactly my thoughts on Oats on N1 and after that. :E

So what rayn? It says nothing that offers any insight at all.

Reading Pandain's filter this game at the moment. Actually the way he approaches the s&b case is very interesting. He comes away with a not-so-firm conclusion, which in this case I think is more of a town-tell than a mafia-tell.

Usually if mafia make really long posts and cases, they do it with the intention of merely tunnelling him. Whereas he actually provided counterbalance points. It's interesting.

Also tonally Pandain feels very similar to Golden Sun. I'll have a real quick flick through Noir and Hogwarts I guess to see if it feels different.

Also 6/7 votes could be the vigi shot for scum. Or something else big. So that 10 vs 3 with 2 town vote alterers is balanced.

Literally his only thought in the 2nde paragraph is "I don't know where he stands at the moment"

This is not a townie nor a mafia thing to say, it provides nothing of any interest other than an extremely brief summary of what Oats did on N1.

You know what bugs me? That Prome was scared of giving me power because he felt he couldnt read me well. Now that I think about it, its pretty bullshit.

Oats is pretty confrontational and terse. He doesn't really address Pandain's concerns about rayn in a meaningful way, but just laughs him off. I don't really follow his [UoN]Sentinel scum/town rayn/Koshi logic because it isn't spelled out at all, it just sort of is.

So right now I read him as slightly scummy, but he could just be town who isn't communicating well. We had a lot of those in my last game.

He says he's made a strong case but you have to go back through about 30 posts and pick it up in bits and pieces, which is time consuming and not all that convincing. Still a lot of associations? Quote more than the one I said about Koshi/rayn/sent please.

Marv and Prome get different treatment because of different meta's.

That was just one example of unexplained logic, but sure.

Not that Prome is town and WoS is scum, just that WoS is way more likely to be scum if Prome is town.

That's the only other example. I felt there were more but that was due to my final point. I find your posting style hard to follow so a lot of what I felt were non-sequitur arguments were, on further review, consistent.

I'm a mathematician and an analyst. I'm trained to support my conclusions with facts/probable cause/proven theorems etc. This whole "I will post one sentence that is my conclusion and then cause a long confusing debate where no one has any idea what anyone else is thinking" thing baffles me.

But to reiterate what I said at the end of my post. I think OOHCHILD is scum, HotCottonCandy is probably scum, and Oats is looking pretty scummy as well.

So Oats is scum for nuking me? Because you had a STRONG townread on Oats before. As an analyst, don't you work with pro's and cons? After pushing red button all the pro town things Oats did are wiped away and he is scum for you now?

I haven't gone back to compare Oats' N1 actions with his D1 actions because I spent all my time scrutinizing OOHCHILD and HotCottonCandy. The statement on Oats was basically only considering his N1 play.

There's a smattering of posts which involve effort/fair argument, but his signal to noise ratio is bad. He's also second only to Koshi in terms of random power-begging.

None of any of this feels natural

Going back through the first day for Oats, he really embodies what's been annoying me all game. I am conflicted about this post because on the other hand it's a total 180 on Oats for idk what reason and it contradicts his behavior regarding Oats on D1.
On the other hand the second paragraph is exactly my thoughts on Oats on N1 and after that. :E

The 2nd paragraph says nothing.

Literally you're saying "he has the exact same thoughts in 2nd paragraph"

Literally his only thought in the 2nde paragraph is "I don't know where he stands at the moment"

This is not a townie nor a mafia thing to say, it provides nothing of any interest other than an extremely brief summary of what Oats did on N1.

I know it says nothing. It doesn't change the fact that i thought the same, and still do, because Oats hasn't done shit. And his nuke on Koshi was so horribly reasoned i don't even know what to say..

It means im town dummy.

You tunneled Pandain on D1. Then out of nowhere you did nuke Koshi. Then you laid out 6 reads who were "not town but not sure". That's not town!Oats.

Lol. Actually that is town oats. Not the laid out 6 reads thing, but that was me ordering my mind and getting back into the game after like a day of not really doing anything.

In which Seuss changed the read on you from scum to town. Yeah indeed.

What, didn't he do the opposite?
