Because his play makes no sense at all for mafia and I believe that there is a cop. I guess I could write a case as to why he is town, but he is going to flip soon and everyone is already voting to lynch Cephiro, who seems mafia regardless of any check.

But why? He says he has the power of 5 to vote for something as mocsta said, he had 6 people on his coins. Don't you think that because 1 of them was scum he gets votes based on how many town are with him? That seems like a town power to me.

No, I think that there were 4 members of his "circle" (him, moc, me, grack) plus a secret vote power that he HAS AND USED yesterday. Thats what he was referring to with "5 votes" IMO.

Back from practice. The 5 votes referred to 5 players being alive in a house for example. (For example hufflepuff would have had 5 votes if they voted as a house before the modkills.) I don't get how you are so good at misunderstanding stuff. -_-

So i'm reasonably sure matt/storr is gonna flip town. If they were going to flip red they'd not have been modkilled for communicationg out of thread since obviously scum can talk to each other. There's the possibility that say matt is really the cop but storr was pulling his leg, or matt was fake claiming cop privately to storr who was actually a townie, but the following exchange makes sense to me in a mason QT:

Cop: I trust you. I'm the cop.
Masoner: I believe that claim. I know a way we can effectively use your cop powers in thread! We'll set up a code word for what you've checked, and i'll claim cop. This way, after I get shot, you'll have an extra check.
Cop: Effectively, it will let us claim and I'll have two cycles before i die, rather than three. I'm in. Here's the code i'm going to use, let's do it.

I totally believe that exchange happened. I think we can act as though storr's check of "1 griffinscum" to be accurate for now. If we're talking about JAT, a claimed vigi, Raynkosh, or Ceph, I'm thinking Ceph as well. Raynkosh disagreed with itself about me, and that makes me think it is more likely to be town. If Rayn gave me a townread, Kosh is really only motivated to try to countermand Rayn if he thinks giving me a townread will cause them to lose. If they're scum, Kosh doesn't give a dick about Rayn's townread on me unless he plans on lynching me or something. Likewise, Rayn would be easily convinced to withdraw said townread because it doesn't REALLY matter what their read on me is. The only time there'd be some hilarious hydra drama like this, barring of course faking it for towncred (which could be a thing, but I doubt it) is that Rayn and Kosh are literally arguing with each other vehemently about the read on me. If that matters to them so much, they are probably town.

When we think about how we give townreads on normal players, a lot of it has to do not with how good their reads are (though we don't mind that) but rather how their mindset and motivation matches up to that of a player trying to win with the town. We look for reasonable cases, for attempts to find out people's alignment, and even, yes, sometimes irrational tunneling. When you see a guy get his mind changed due to entirely reasonable points and clearly caring about the accuracy of his reads, that's an indication he's town. RaynKosh were doing the hydra version of that re: me.

Assuming we believe JAT's vigi claim I'm down to lynch Ceph (unless there's a 4th gryffindor member)
