StorrZerg and Mattchew were masoned and used other means of communication than QuickTopic although we explicitly told them to refrain from using anything else which resulted in their modkills. VayneAuthority got himself banned on TL forum during our game which resulted in his modkill. | ||

Approved for Storr and Matt, although I'm a little iffy on VA, I generally feel like getting tl banned and having to be modkilled is punishment enough, especially if its a game you wanted to play in, unless it was a requested ban. Either way if you really want VA warned, I'll warn him, it just feels like a double punishment. | ||

StorrZerg and Mattchew were masoned during the game for a cycle. From what I understand, they were playing LoL after that cycle was over and Mattchew told StorrZerg that his ability had changed (they had talked about the ability in their QT). I'm not sure whether Mattchew told StorrZerg his new abilities. Regardless, StorrZerg asked Mattchew to post the discussion in their QT and tell the host. The game was not otherwise impacted. From what I could tell, nobody else knew about the communication they had, except that they had been modkilled for communicating outside of the game. Foolishness and I were pretty strongly against the modkills when they happened. I'm not necessarily asking the bans to be changed. However, from what I was told, I think a warning is more appropriate, at least in StorrZerg's case, especially considering that they were modkilled (thus preventing them from playing in the remainder of that game). Regardless, I don't think it's right to ban them with so little discussion. EDIT: Never mind, I can't read apparently. Ange777 was asking for warnings, which makes total sense. | ||

Realistically when using out-of-thread communication you should follow the rules the host lays down. That being said whoever recieved the voice chat without soliciting it should probably be warned rather than banned since he wasn't the one who decided to chat out of game. I am a total softie and like warning people after I modkill them but in general out of game communication is a big no-no area. | ||
