He pretends to treat the limit with value but he really doesn't, and hes the only person who hasn't complained hes running out of posts or asked for more, because he simply doesn't care about making the most of his writing space, or scum hunting, in fact he doesn't care about town at all. I dunno what do you mean about layabout. What should i look for? I see gumshoe asking questions from him. Possibly thinks he is scum, at least not a townread for him. I don't know what's wrong with that. | ||

At first he seems questioning, as if he's suspicious but doesn't have a clear idea (he asks viscera about pretty much everything he's posted: "Question Ve, who else is scum other than Malongo? Also Is Oats posting of your interactions true? If so why have you been so hostile to him if you do find him too dumb to be scum? Don't you think that at the very least you should try and talk with him? Why do you feel the need to play so aggresive as town?"). Next in the paragraph where's he talking to layabout, he goes "Also start bieng useful, it's worthless posts like yours wow VE why are you pushing Malongo that start to make me think Ve is town." After that he proceeds to make a small case on viscera and ends up voting firm tofu in the voting thread. It's like he can't remember who he's suspicious of. | ||

Of MZ's posts, his first is the only one where he actually comments substantially on other players, and in it, he simply drops an opinion on how people were playing, but with no elaboration or conclusions given. Of the rest of his posts, he takes an abrasive attitude while refusing to do any kind of scumhunting in the thread or to clarify anything he has said or give further opinions. He was asked several times in thread about his first post, but never answered anyone, and when it was shown that the contradiction he thought he found in Gumshoe's posts was false, he ignored it. This is worse than some players who aren't engaging much with the thread though, because the frequency of MZ's posting and some of the content reveals that he's at least paying cursory attention to the thread, and he's around often enough to post at regular intervals. His attitude reveals a blatant desire to avoid having to scumhunt in the thread or be accountable for his posts. It's not just that he's not doing anything, it's that he's set himself up in an aggressive manner to try to scare people out of trying to get him to do anything. As well, for a player who seemed excited to play in the game before it started, that same enthusiasm hasn't carried over at all. Has anyone been in PM contact with him? He said that he was planning on PMing town reads on Day 1, but halfway through the day, it didn't seem that he was in close contact with many people, and unless he's using another player as a proxy to post reads for him, nothing that he could have done there is being reflected in the thread. If MZ is as absent in PM land as he is in the thread, I don't think there's any redeeming qualities to his play. So, he appears very scummy to me due to his lack of substance, scumhunting, or opinions in the thread, while still having the time to regularly appear to post, his lack of response to any of the criticisms or questions posed to him by others, and the abrasive attitude he's shown to try to avoid having to interact with others in the thread. ##Vote: MZ I'm null now on Hapa/Marv. It was a suspicion based on his early posting, but he didn't have much follow up and then got replaced, so I don't think it would be a good idea to lynch him. I'm going to back off a bit on Strongandbig. His later posting is better than his first post, so I don't think he's the best lynch for Day 1. I think a lynch between MZ and VE would be a good choice. I'm not as sure about the Sloosh lynch. He hasn't done too much, but having a couple posts defending himself is not so bad in my opinion, simply because he was attacked by several people for his opinion on PMs. So, to use posts talking about that after seems natural, similar to how Tofu had posts defending himself based on his post about the traitor. | ||

I'm down for lynching Sloosh, Ve, or strong and bad(pretty much sheeping Vivax and mystery dudes case in that regard) lynching one of these individuals as opposed to someone like layabout will yield alot more info, seeing as they've been central to the days discussion, which is why I'm not going to vote outside these three unless a really good case is made. Lastly I'm out of pms, and Knolly really isnt that interesting conversation T_T would really appreciate a mason buddy, or at least a few extra posts. | ||

Vivax do you think Layabout is scum? It kinda sucks for me to say this right after he called me scum cause it might look like I suspect him out of spite, I can only give you my word that this is as objective as possible after reading his filter upon your request: Fair chance. He has the sort of theatrical posting at times I associate with scum play screw it I Shall go to the saying "polarised" and being useless* isn't enough for the effort you have spent *although he hasn't been useless he has simply yet to start scumhunting also if i thought you were scum then i would push to l_ _ _h you. and a lack of assertiveness that is usually visible in his town play. I don't really see his "line of suspicion" in his posts. He really wants to kill Vayne. He asks Rayn a question. Asks VE a question. Now he wants to lynch me but wants to delay the reasons. All the while mixing in some rather pointless questions about mechanics and statements about time that lacks of a problem solving intention. Although I wouldn't use that as an argument in itself, but it refines the overall picture. Even someone like kush can show traits of townieness that make his other derping not very concerning, in layabout it doesn't fit in a good way. Btw I'm masoned with VE (who is the hippie I was referring to). Currently awaiting a reply but it would probably be wise to post our conversation since he's up for lynch. He told me he's working on something though so I'm waiting for that. I might donate him a few posts, although I've offered to post in his name instead (Housing the posts of multiple players in one post is actually a good strategy to economize on posts, a mason "central node" can take care of that) I've been masoned by someone else as of recent. Will reveal more information when I think it's appropriate. Other stuff I noticed while looking @ OP: Have you ever imagined what would happen if real mafia sat down with rival families and played a game of mafia, to the death? Rather than endless bloody struggles, the dons of Sicily have decided to settle their ancient and irrelevant scores by playing the most appropriate game of all. Success will land you riches, honor, and a steak dinner with the Pope, but failure may lead to swift burial. But beware, the supervising godfathers are short-tempered and quick to cut down loose-mouthed fools. Anyone who is likely to talk too much in mafia is likely to blab to the law. I might just be overinterpreting flavor, but with 6 mafia and closed setup, is it queer to think that there are two mafia factions of 3 players each given the high number of mafia? It's something that, should it hold true, I suspect could be revealed upon death of a mafia member (assuming there are different families). It might also not be revealed, leading to secret mafia wars being held behind the back of an unknowing town. This is rather irrelevant for scumhunting atm but I wanted to put the thought out there cause I found it thrilling. | ||

Sigh, down to my last post. Knolly accused me of only having one pm or scum of only having one pm in general based on a mistake I made earlier. So I pmed him hoping he would lie to town and tell them that I didnt, thereby simplifying todays lynch, or that he would drop his case on me and I could get a better read on him seeing as he was my earliest scum read. It was a rough call but I had to put the whole one pm thing to rest or scum would've ran with it. Also I'm going into this game assuming town values theyre posts more than scum, scum are trying to burn posts on useless discussion, this is not the only reason I've attacked people, but it is a major thing I'm looking out for. | ||

He hasn't done too much, but having a couple posts defending himself is not so bad in my opinion, simply because he was attacked by several people for his opinion on PMs. Yeah and he could have said "i didn't mean that but this" when people attacked him if we were incorrect. Intentionally getting into an argument and play "i'm too stupid to understand" is a good way to avoid doing anything else. That's what it looks like. Vivax's points on Layabout are good, that's the impression i got from his posts when i read them again. I still want to lynch Sloosh though. | ||

15/15 I've made my opinions clear. I think KHolly is scum because I believe he's Chezinu and I know that a town-aligned Chezinu tries to help town…in his way. He's not doing anything in this game. But remove the fact that I think he's Chezinu for a bit. What has kholly done? Anything? Take a couple of seconds to look through his filter. He's not done anything to help town find scum. Others are in here, trying to find scum. Trying to make sense of the game. KHolly is only interested in perpetuating confusion. I also think Malango is scum, because he's clearly reading the thread but is actively trying not to draw attention to himself. How do I know? Look in my filter. HiroPro said something about it earlier, and no one really picked up on it then either. I mention Malango calling out slOosh in one of his posts, when he really called out MZ. Like…look at it like this: if you're a townie and someone says you said something you never said, what is your initial reaction? It's "SCUUUUUMMMMM!!!!" right? Because he's twisting your words and spreading lies! But Malango didn't even react to it. Never even mentions it. You know what he does do though? Attempts to donate posts to DocH for one, and is now trying to lynch Sandroba. Which, okay…sandroba isn't the worst lynch in the world right now, but ONLY if we're lynching lurkers and people are just LAMBASTING me for "trying to lynch lurkers" when that's not even the case, but apparently it's okay when Malongo does it (with ne'er even a word about it in the thread BTDUBZ) in voting sandroba. The more times I read the thread over, the more I like the idea of a slOosh lynch. I'm masoned with slOosh, presumably of his choosing because I didn't initiate it. He's done nothing with it aside from ask me two questions. First, he mentioned what I just mentioned above, the mistake post where I replace slOosh with MZ. Second, and this is the important one: "What do you think about layabout's PM stance?" ………..what? WHAT? I'm on the block for "not contributing enough" and he wants to know what I think about layabout's stance on the mechanics? OVER 24 HOURS INTO THE DAY? He's faking it guys - everything he says, he's faking contribution. I'm fully okay with a slOosh lynch. And since I'm definitely not going to convince you guys on Malongo: ##Unvote ##Vote: slOosh I'm not considering Wiggles as scum right now...he could be, but I don't totally hate his target of MZ. We cool for now. Right now here is my list of PM contacts, bolded are my choices. Vivax, marvellosity, slOosh, Oatsmaster, kholly I'll provide logs eventually, but they're short because I'm not as engaged in this game as I was hoping I'd be. The only person I've had any kind of back and forth with is Vivax, and you guys saw what I posted with Oats. I don't want your posts. Use them yourselves to decide the right course of action. I'm not scum, but if you lynch me so be it. I accept my part of the responsibility for that. | ||
