This part is true. I'm guessing that our max MS is unknown to scum and I won't be sharing that info today. I am not a heavy duty strategist, so the questions of whether to move toward or away from each other, how to group, etc. I will leave to someone who's good at that stuff. My game strength is analyzing body of work and relative tells. The former I do whether I know players or not. The latter comes with familiarity.

How does it not help? Angels have all the info they need. Having no information is much worse than having some info.

Besides, we can coordinate movement and angel position. If we see something, we are notified - figuring out who you are on the board will make you use the board to your advantage.

Viewing a puppet does not slow down an angel.

You do not have to do all of your movement in the same direction. You can split it up however you like, but there is no moving diagonally. You can also remain stationary if you so desire. You do need to choose a single viewing direction, though.



This is important because this will prevent confusion when I have to play chess at the deadline. Everything related to your movement will be done from the reference point of the direction you are currently facing. Only describe what you want to happen with these words: forward, backward, left, and right. I don't want any cardinal directions. Your movement should consist of two parts: the direction you are facing and how you are moving. Again this is all relative to the direction you are currently facing.

Example: To move like player P in the example movement tab of the google spreadsheet you would PM something like this: Face forward and move 3 tiles to the right.

It helps us discern the puppets from the players. If I see a weeping angel in my lightbeam, and don't know my position on the board, I will not know if it's a puppet, a statue or a real angel. However, if I know my position, I can immediately tell if I'm looking at another player or not. And if I know who that player is, I might be able to tell if that player is an angel or not (see above question to the hosts).

Of course we also need old-fashioned analysis of the players. But we should not ignore the possibilities the setup gives us, as it can help us find scum easier and make it harder for them to feed on us. Don't forget that scum already knows the exact position of every player on the boards, so we are not giving them extra information.

Just a few thoughts about mechanics since nothing else is going on right now:

We have three different parameters to distinct the moving of the players:
- Moving Direction
- Moving Speed
- Watching Direction

We have to be really unlucky to not confirm the spot of most players in the first night with this many possible unique combinations. So we should all claim our values for those 3 parameters right before deadline.

Also another host question:
Can two players be on the same spot? If not, what happens when they both move on the same spot? Can a player get on a spot where a statue is? If not, what happens when he tries to do so?
