I don't want to vote for Arctic Daishi, it would be a total waste at this point if he hasn't posted at all. Rainbows is a bit... aggressive for my tastes. MeatlessTaco's bandwagoning onto CoS worries me a bit, but he seems fine other than that. I'm actually most suspicious of TheRavensName - he wanted to excuse liars, he piled onto making a "joke vote", and as others have said he posted right before the game started and then was silent. Again, I will definitely post more than once per day after this, I've just had other issues. | ||

It hasn't been that long for Luneth, give him a shot. NW is basically DOA this evening though if he doesn't show up and defend himself adequately or give us something better to go on. In other news, there are a LOT of people lurking hard in this thread. We're going to have a damn near impossible time of winning this game if we don't get more out of you guys with <1 page worth of filter. If you're not scum, you'd better speak up or you're throwing the game for us. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + To put it simply my Vote was a pressure vote to try and get Arctic to speak up (I'm saying this now because I believe that Arctic Daishi will stay afk). My vote on Diashi was a coin flip between Daishi/BDuddy/ChewOnStu because none had made posts at this point. My view of NW at the time + Show Spoiler + At this time I was more interested in getting everyone talking. I also felt that while NW's actions were potentially scummy that they could be explained by being a newbie and making a foolish mistake (I mean, it's not the brightest thing to do to introduce yourself by sheeping someone else's attack on a lurker). I was content at that point to simply remain suspicious of NW rather than straight up voting for him. My view on Lynching Lurkers vs Active people that seem scummy at the time + Show Spoiler + At this point in time there were multiple people who hadn't made any posts while others (NW, Matiarch TheRavensName etc had made very few. My goal at this point was to force more posts rather than try and kill NW. My view at the was and still remains is that unless I am confident that there is a high chance of an active person being scum I will Vote for an inactive scummy Lurker This explains my stance/view on these matters at the time of posting this + Show Spoiler + While I believe that nobodywonder's actions have been suspicious and that his case is less than stellar, I feel that it is foolish to lynch someone who has made an addition to the game (albeit at this point small) should not be lynched over a person that has simply lurked for 2 days straight. I feel I need to point out that Frogon, as well as Krafla and Matriarch (to a lesser extent) have all input a similar amount of information as nobodywonder. At this stage with so little info to go on I can only flip a coin on whether to vote Artic Daishi or bduddy I will move on to address current questions (Would I Vote NW now etc) after a half hour break | ||

As I see it, OE and Raven have the same allegiance and confirm each other's role. therefore possibly both mafia or chobolings. He gets asked about OE and he says that he makes long posts and so he's scummy? Why does that make him scummy? And if you look at his posts earlier he looks more like he thinks (or knows!) Let me tell you the tale of the absolutely fucking retarded township of NMM 37 (that I was a part of). D1 was full of lurk, barely half the thread showed up to do anything. Everyone eventually voted except for 2 people who were eventually replaced. But WHERE did people vote? Well people took the stance of voting for lurkers, and since there were so many to choose from, everyone essentially chose their own candidate and ended up lynching a townie, because it was real easy for mafia to hide and spread out their votes. Since there were so many people lurking (similar to this game) it was essentially a complete crapshoot anyway as to whether we hit a scummy lurker or a town lurker. Better in the end to go with some educated guessing and learn from that than lynch someone who has contributed barely anything so we learn nothing after the flip. D1 sucks, and sometimes you lynch town, but it happens. If it happens we move on and keep hunting scum and learn from our mistake. | ||

Alright bduddy I'll spell out a couple things for you. 1) Claiming a blue role this early in the game essentially paints a big ol' bullseye on your back for mafia to target. If they manage to shoot you N1 you won't have performed any checks and are useless to us. 2) When I'm asking for your scumreads, I'm asking you to tell us who you think are scum and WHY. "I have a good feeling about NW," or "I feel suspicious" means dick all if you don't have anything to back it up. In conclusion, do a little a thinking before you post about the repercussions of your actions and what it means to other people when you say certain things, and you'll go a long way. Don't just spew your thoughts into the thread for no apparent reason. It doesn't help us find scum. | ||
