I do not take kindly to threats against my hp iamp, stop being petulant and if you're town do something useful with your ability. Well me stopping him from hurting me would be good for town wouldn't it. Could you realize that I'm just waiting for you to contribute constructively as any townie should do ? That's all I'm waiting from you. Do that and block whoever you think it is in the best interest of town to block. I offer you a chance to prove me that you are town ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif) lets just say djo i have seen things that make it difficult for me to contribute in my normal way. Also your pretty smart djo look through my filter you can figure it out. Also Clarity and marv would be on my do not lynch ever list for this game. Who would you like to lynch tomorrow if Toad dies tonight ? What do you think about Prom ? i could get behind a ve lynch his not posting at all is not like him.
i dont have many strong feelings on prom. For what its worth i have had somewhat of a history of not being able to read him. In the famous restart newbie game i thought he was scum both games and i was right once and wrong once. Nothing about him screams scum to me. Plus he was able to explain himself quite clearly in his defense from what i remember of it

I would like to know who you would like to lynch tomorrow if Toad dies tonight and we have effectively a lynch to use tomorrow. Don't be afraid to fully share your thoughts.
If Toad was off the cards for tomorrow, my next scum candidate would be Z-Boson.
His case on me was all over the place, which OK, I can understand maybe there was a misunderstanding. But his case on S&B is just non-existent.

Anyone interested in a late switch to Marv? I've got a pretty strong town read on him right now, and I can't say that I like Syllo's election platform.
marv if you were magically blasted into being a serious candidate would you tell people your picks so they can evaluate whether they agree with your reads or would you do a syllo and keep them secret?
I'm also a little T_T that no one has talked any more about platforms/ideas for "party composition themes" like Sandro had, I do think having been in a successful party is a statistical indicator of townieness and the idea of spreading that out makes sense.
That said, I'm not voting for Sandroba until he actually takes Syllo's case a little bit more seriously - seems like it's a reason people are dropping off his campaign wagon but he really has barely even mentioned it. there's some pretty srs reasoning there. Strong town read on marv? Really? If marv hadn't told be beforehand he wasn't gonna take this game seriously, I would have gone with scum read on marv. He spends a ton of time arguing with cave fellow for no reason at all, the guy is and has been a lost cause since he began posting. He's not nearly as active and as involved as his other games. He's not willing to run for party. I've reread his filter and there is nooooo way you can get a town read on marv that fast, with that kind of bad reasoning. Someone else had a town fast, with zero reasoning. Especially SNB, who's played with him a ton of times. SnB's filter though seems pretty much like his town filter from last game, in terms of low activity and post coutn, but I haven't played with him much. Marv, do you have any meta read on him?
The entire proof, his first paragraph: is that no one could have a strong town read on marv. Then he goes on to talk about Marv. Nothing in this paragraph is even about S&B and why he is likely scum. In the second paragraph "SnB's filter though seems pretty much like his town filter from last game", so Z-BosoN has a meta town read on S&B, yet here this case is anyway, pinning him as scum with no logical reasons to support this suspicion.
It feels fabricated and fake, trying to create something out of nothing.
The rest of his filter consists of pushing sandroba's candidacy on the basis of 'its easy to tell his town play and scum play apart', yet says multiple times he is unfamiliar with sandrobas' meta. Some more of his posts just read as summaries of what is already happening in the game:

This is who I would lynch if Toad was not an option.

Also you are just plain wrong in saying that whether his role seems ridiculous or not is irrelevant, just like you were yesterday when you were telling everyone how wrong they were about sandroba.
If you are town, how about not arguing against me every single day Syllo, I've written before about greymists Aperture game where several powerfull town Roles existed. I therefore do not think that power of a role is alignement indicative. You also might want to consider that we may face several scum factions and or 3rd parties, which could balance out strong power roles.
I am aware that your case is not only based on this point, i just wanted to point this out.

Quoting this just because it's closest (and I agree :p).
I kinda like some of the things you have to say on Z-Boson, so I'll look into it in more detail later.

I like playing with Toad, he makes me laugh.
What could it hurt?

The funny thing about that Z-bo case on s&b is that he rants about people having a townread on me, and then says he finds it especially unbelievably as s&b has played with me so many times.
Surely of all the people here, someone like s&b is most likely to have a read like that on me?

Yes, it is completely devoid of logic.

You bread crumbed something that is implied merely by being present in the game?
Seems like a waste of keystrokes to me

ta-da!
oh god. I swear this happens to me every game.
Arkham City: "Kita, we know that Palmar and Kurumi essentially roleclaimed third party in the thread, but we think you're the batman!"
Aperature: "Oh look, Kita killed 4 scum and presented cases against three others. He has to be third party x20."
Storm: "Kita is obviously a hider, but since he can't possibly be scum, he's a serial killing hider!"
I'm not totes, but I can confirm that the theme of today's game involves throwing beanbags, so Norstein Bekkler is definitely the one targeting me with these abilities. I claimed a shot on Cave day one providing evidence of a role not related to the games.
On November 26 2012 22:27 Acrofales wrote: @Marv: I have no clue. I agree that his guessing games seems to be role-related, rather than someone's action, but fucked if I know that that's alignment indicative. 3P does make some sense, given that he is not very interested in scumhunting. I don't know why he wants to be on a party, though (unless it's in his wincon as you say, but the games and the wincon don't seem to go together).
I presented thoughts on four different individuals on day two. Just because my filter isn't 15 pages doesn't mean I have less content.
Marv is the town hero for presenting a busted case against myself, we have people like nuke and cave who haven't shared thoughts on anyone, and I'm the one not interested in scum hunting?
On November 26 2012 23:13 Promethelax wrote: Kita: name claim please?
No.
I'll admit I haven't been as active yesterday, which is mainly because I don't think the town requires much guidance this cycle. The selection of the first two individuals is pretty straight forward and I don't have a scum read on any of the proposed members, even if I'd rather see myself included.
Could someone walk me through the reason for clarity? I recall that he had some night interaction with Marv's role, but his 17 page filter is too much to go through in my 20 minutes I have.
Back to work -_-

I agree that someone needs to make an argument for Clarity's towniness. I myself have a number of people I would prefer to have included ahead of Clarity. Particularly Djodref has been throwing me town vibes in spades, and TC's parity cop check feels 100% townie to me, even if I had my reservations before. I am back to TC being town.

Clarity, as I stated previously, was obviously scum when he rolled scum in Newbie Mini XXX. Looks much closer to his Mario Mini play style, where he was town. Add on top of that, he was sandrobas' attempted mislynch.
These are my thoughts on Clarity from earlier. I wouldn't object to Djordref being in the team, either.

yes, plus his behaviour + night actions towards me make me pretty sure clarity is town (i understand this is reliant on me being town, but hey)
Djodref has been more townie for me today as well, there was something earlier in the cycle that made me specifically think that but i can't remember right now, will dig it up later if necessary.
for now, see you all later
