##vote muso until we get a claim from his mason partner. Also I don't think acro's partner should claim until muso's claims. encryption... It is up the the mod to say if it's legal or not. I don't think it is really "against the spirit of the game." There are very specific circumstances where it's useful and this is one of them. | ||

Before that point, did you think mason+miller was simply a role all wrapped into one? And if not, who did you think was being called out to roleclaim: "town members who could talk to each other", or "people who would show red to alignment cops"? | ||

Maybe he fake claimed because he was confused about what mason did? (I actually don't know what either a mason or a miller are IRL. There should be more obvious, more differentiated role names IMO) So I will consider anyone talking about muso, or encryption, or the real scum claim, or anything other than looking for scum in the remaining 12 people, unhelpful and therefore suspicious. | ||

While it would be nice to be masoned with a fellow australian. Unfortunately I am not masoned with Muso, or a mason at all. Muso's partner should claim if he exists. If not then I am going to vote for muso for fake claiming mason. It's 10am ADST so musso should be here any moment. If he is not he is probably avoiding the thread. Anyway. I am hosting a party today, and have much to do so I may not have as much time as I would like to post. I will make it up later though. | ||

A miller is someone who mills. The wind/water mill was usually located outside, or on the outskirts of town. A favourite story setpiece is that the miller is suspected by the townfolk, because he is different: he lives outside the town and keeps to himself. However, he always turns out to be innocent (and maybe even saves the day). Hence the ingame role. A mason is short for a member of the freemason society. A rather secretive group of people who organize secret meetings. I don't know enough about them, but they are generally highly connected between each other. Hence their ingame role. Oh, and Release hasn't appeared yet either to chip in about Muso's epicly failed gambit. | ||

Mattchew hypothetically accuses release of something that he is actually also guilty of! Release jumps on me for a stupid reason. Mattchew jumps on Realease for a stupid reason. He accuses kushmasta of... honestly i dont know... especially after he asks about the discussion being about masons or millers. Kush misread the thread / roles being discussed and thought millers = masons... calling him scum for this is the biggest stretch i have seen in a while. there is no way anyone with any level of reading comprehension would draw these conclusions from kush's posting and reading the thread around it release is trying to look like he is scum hunting by skewing kush's words from the thread. So essentially you are accusing him because of bad "reading comprehension." That is kind of the same thing he accuses me of though. Also a more general definition of a Mason is someone who lays bricks, in history the bricklayers were their own society and you could tell a group of free masons bys ome signals they left in the bricks they laid. | ||

I take full responsibility for this situation. Admittedly, I didn't make any attempt to assess the experience levels of anybody here before I started this game, so this is undoubtedly my fault. However, I banked on Acro and his teammate figuring this out instead of coming out and counter-claiming me. Pretty much everybody in the game determined the following: 1. this is a suicide play as scum 2. it is extremely unlikely there were 2 mason teams, Unfortunately, the masons didn't make the next leap in the puzzle, and think outside the box to figure out WHY? Fair enough, I'm not blaming you. I am Kid Watching TV, aka a vanilla. The point of the gambit should be obvious now. | ||
