Night 2

HopeTorture knew times were grim. Close Spawns on Lost Temple is tough for any matchup, but TvP in particular turns into a total shitfest.There are a couple reasons for this, but mostly it breaks down to rush distance. The close distance is short, and the distance nat-to-nat is really really short. The lack of a high-ground nat means that expanding is extraordinarily difficult.

So when HopeTorture and NexGenius spawn close to each other, things look like they're going to go downhill, and fast. Amazingly, both players fast expand. HopeTorture goes for bio with quick medivacs, and the protoss player builds up an army of Void Rays supporting sentry/zealot in anticipation of a 2-base push.

Things start to heat up as 2 base macro kicks in, when suddenly HopeTorture's base goes dead. The auto-mining still happens, but units aren't moving, production has halted, and idle workers lie everywhere. What happened? Is the player AFK? It makes no sense to suddenly stop giving keyboard inputs. There's been no signal to the judges asking for a pause, and no sign of an equipment malfunction. Something is wrong, but nobody knows what.

Artosis cranes his slender birdlike neck to get a better view of the booth but can't see what's going on. In the meantime. NexGenius rolls in and takes out HopeTorture's natural. Suddenly the Terran player springs into action to try to defend his base, but he's lost too much-- he came back to his keyboard too late. He mounts a final, desperate attempt, pulling scvs and marines as the Void Rays, sentries, and zealots pour into his base. All his warriors perish, their deaths futile at the hands of the skilled protoss control. The game is over.

The speculations continues, however. Threads on teamliquid.net spring up faster than they can be cut down. People, fans, foreigners want to know. What happened? Where was he? Why wasn't he there to defend his nat? Why did he suddenly stop?

Artosis guesses it may be foul play, especially after the horrible cheese death yesterday. But nobody knows. Fact is, HopeTorture is out. As his last buildings collapse, he types those fateful letters.

Not really. if V7 is town, then you have bluelightz and prplhz to look at. IMO dirkzor does not look scum at this point, and keirathi is confirmed because of RB.

Yea, I'm really liking the prplhz lynch now. I gave him the BotD because marv seemed convinced that he was too active and interested to be scum, and the other cases today had merit as well. How long before we stop giving his terrible play the BotD and hold him accountable for the scummy shit he's done?

OKAY. Fuck. I'm probably dead tomorrow. Things to look at:

1. Bluelightz has been "tunneling" vaderseven for a while. V7's case for most people was that he promised some stuff and didn't post in time. Bluelightz went from null to scum without interactions, and has been AWOL for most of the day.

2. this is the list of players right now:

2) Zephirdd
3) Keirathi - was roleblocked n1
5) Bluelightz
7) Marvellosity
8) Dirkzor
9) prplhz

To me, the scummiest of the players is between Bluelightz and prplhz and, to a very lower extent(considering he was bluelightz' savior), Dirkzor.

Tomorrow is LYLO(3v2) and I don't think Bluelightz is town at all. prplhz has made a case on bluelightz and was willing to push him today, while dirkzor saved his ass. I don't know which of these is worse.

I'll probably die tomorrow, so don't consider my check.
