Night 1 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/iEkzMl.jpg) gon smiles to himself. Most players couldn't put in the time but gon did and had the experience that others lacked. He's made it to the Ro32 in the GSL Open-- no small feat, not at all. And now, after easily defeating non-named Protoss ZanDarke Glory is within reach. An Ro9 run would be an impressive achievement for any player, but his next game was against he inscrutable EGIdrA. He's a bad-mannered bad boy with an ego that he can use to physically crush his opponents. gon knows the meaning of fear... but then he sees, IdrA has already been eliminated. What? How? gon turns and sees the face of his real opponent: chickencombo. In a flurry of TvT madness their armies clash against each other in might macro battles, but it is all too much for our hero. How was he to know he would be playing a TvT? He was expecting to fight a cheeser, not a macroer! As Tastosis began casting the english-language stream, he got more and more nervous. What if this guy was a cheeser? What then? gon would not give up so easily, though. Tanks! Vikings! MMM! across Delta Quadrant and Blistering Sands they fought, raising armies that clashed together in glorious combat. Pressed to the limit, gon knew his time was coming to a close. He was a progamer, sure, but he had no sponsors lined up. Hell, he had a day job. There was no way he could do this, no way he could out-do chickencombo. At last, he fell, exhausted, and the series was over. Though chickencombo had won, he was far too tired to defend himself against Zenio in the next round. The pyrric victory had taxed him greatly-- all his energy was gon. "gg" Risen as gon and chickencombo the Progamers has been eliminated! It is now Night 1.
